OOC: Well I don't know. You could have some cat magically appear. ^.^ I just want something to happen. Mmff.

Tawnypaw hurried up to Ashfire. "What's wrong?" She asked in confusion. She had been lounging about, enjoying the sunny afternoon, when suddenly she had seen Moonpaw bolt dangerously out of camp. Concern for a fellow apprentice played across the she-cat's face like soft lights.

Ashfire shook her head.
"I'm not sure. Moonpaw was helping clean Spottedleaf and Foxleaf's body when she said 'It was the same cat' and bolted away like a madcat!" She exclaimed. The she-cat had seen Moonpaw in one of her 'frenzies' which had somehow been urged on by some tramatic experience. But never had Moonpaw looked so scared and angry at the same time. What's going on? Ashfire wished she knew.

[[Maybe Mystery Daughter Of The Moon could talk to Moonpaw? Or not...]]
Tawnypaw nodded and sighed. "There's been drama enough to drive everyone to their edge. I don't blame her." She meowed sadly, looking off into the distance.

OOC: Eh sure. I'd like to sort of follow miss crazy-paws for once.
BIC: Ashfire nodded solemnly. She felt her kits stirring restlessly inside of her, and she sighed. What sort of forest were they living in? A dreadful, death-stalked one, that's for sure. She thought.
Moonpaw darted through the forest, her tabby pelt flashing past brambles and ignoring the pain as thorns dug into her skin and left droplets of blood behind her. She tore on until she stopped beside the stream. She crouched and stared at her reflection, remembering her meeting with Warrior here. Warrior... you truly were the bravest cat I'd ever known. She thought sadly. She almost thought she saw a little of him in her reflection, but as soon as she saw it it was gone.

"Anything wrong, little sweet?" A dark brown she-cat asked as she padded forward. Her ocean-blue eyes glittered sweetly as she spoke and she smiled a friendly, welcoming smile. Just passing by and looking for edible herbs, Mystery Daughter Of The Moon had heard something and found an upset kitten before her. Or she-cat, an apprentice, as the Clans might say. She wondered if the cat would want to talk with her.

Moonpaw sniffed and looked up at the she-cat.
"My friend... I met him here. He's gone now. He tried to protect me. He's gone..." She muttered sadly, staring off into nothingness.

"Friends do come and go like that..." Mystery Daughter Of The Moon said softly, shaking her head and taking a seat next to the cat. She sighed. "Want to talk or just sit here and mourn?"

Moonpaw sighed, glaring into the water at her reflecting.
"What good is talking? It won't bring him back. It won't stop the cat that killed him, and our Medicine cats." She meowed. She remembered the crazed look of the she-cat as she leaped at her, and the big tom with his huge body and even more deadly claws. Moonpaw shuddered a little at the memory.

"There is truth in your words." Mystery Daughter Of The Moon said softly, nodding. The apprentice had a point, but she knew that holding it in would only hurt. "When you're ready to talk you will. I'm certain of it." Mystery Daughter Of The Moon said softly, standing and padding away as swiftly as she had come.

Moonpaw turned, her pale blue eyes wide. She leaped to her paws, almost stepping on her long tail in the process.
"Wait!" She called, "Who are you...?"

"My name is Mystery Daughter Of The Moon. I'm a Traveler with the group Lady Of The Lake. Why?" She asked with a smile, turning to face the apprentice again. Maybe she would get a story out of her yet. Another tale to add to her collection was always a great thing.

Moonpaw blinked and looked at her paws.
"I'm... I'm just curious, I guess. I'm Moonpaw, of ThunderClan. I-If you want... I think... I think it would be sort of nice... to... talk..." She mewed uncomfortably. She never liked talking about Warrior or anything of her past with her Clanmates. Maybe she could talk to this Mystery Daughter of the Moon?

"Nice to meet you, Moonpaw of ThunderClan. The Clans are very interesting spectacle indeed, you're lucky to live in one." She said with a smile and a brief nod. "Sure, we can talk." She added with a smile. Moonpaw seemed like a good cat indeed, and she would probably be a good cat to talk to. Mystery Daughter Of The Moon would gladly talk, and listen.

Moonpaw nodded slightly.
"Yeah, it's... it's nice, being in a Clan." She sat down and sighed.
"It was a few moons ago, when I'd first become an apprentice. I met him here, at that river. His name was Warrior. He really was a fighter, from the very beginning. I caught him tresspassing so I tried to chase him off but he nearly beat the fur off my shoulders. We became friends after that, and he told me about his sisters. He told me a little about his older sister, Lala, who had died. He never told me how. But he mostly talked about his younger sister, Okurrein. He said she was gentle and nice and would one day bring some sort of salvation. I always enjoyed talking to him. I think... I think I sort of loved him, in a way. Maybe more like a brother than anything else, but still... One day he was followed by this big tom and small she-cat. He said 'mother' and 'uncle' so I think they were related. But they... they attacked him and me, and Warrior did his best to protect me... but he was killed, as was his family. His adoptive parents and his sister, Okurrein... I'm certain of it. I... Sometimes I have these strange dreams, where those cats are coming after me, too. I don't know why. They... they just are. In my dream they call me something else... And there are these strange songs filling my head, like birds all crying different notes at the same time, so that I can't tell which one is coming from where or what... It's all so terrifying and confusing." She meowed sadly.

Mystery Daughter Of The Moon nodded sadly. "I wish my story was as interesting. Sounds like a job for a Medic to me. Oh, I mean Medicine Cat." Mystery Daughter Of The Moon corrected herself with a sigh. "Medic, Medicine Cat. Clan, Pack. All too similar." She said with a sigh, looking at Moonpaw sadly. The poor apprentice.

Moonpaw blinked and looked up at Mystery Daughter of the Moon curiously.
"Did you live in a... 'pack' once?" She asked. It seemed that the she-cat knew something of this, or else she wouldn't have confused it with Clan. Or maybe she would still, Moonpaw didn't really know.

"No, but I visited them. And the Tribes. They had amazing stories to tell. I could tell you, if you'd like." Mystery Daughter Of The Moon offered with a sweet smile. The Packs were her favorite group of cats, being strong and valiant. They were true fighters, none of them soft or innocent. They were great cats with horrible stories of death, great stories of triumph, and a history that surpassed any other.

Moonpaw's ear pricked forward and she tilted her head sideways a little with curiosity.
"Yes, I should like to hear about them."{/b] She said eagerly. Her tail twitched eagerly and her bright, completely absorbed face waited to listen to this obviously well-traveled she-cat. Oh the stories she could tell. Moonpaw thought.
