Sorreltail frowned slightly and tapped her paws on the rock.
"Let's see... oh, it has to be Mousefur." She said teasingly.

Brackenfur got up and moved closer to her.
"Mousefur? She ok, a bit old", he said, "This cat is younger then me, has beutiful eyes, a soft pretty pelt, and her personailty makes you feel as your the only cat in the world."

Sorreltail blushed and looked down at her paws, then up into Brackenfur's eyes. She wondered at how he made her heartbeat speed until her ribs ached, or how his warm, inviting scent made her fur prickle. She smiled a bit helplessly, not knowing what to do or what to say.
"I hope I'm not assuming anything..." She mewed, inching closer and licking his muzzle gently. She flinched back a little, feeling as if her whole body were on fire. She flattened her ears and blushed, looking up at him sheepishly.

Brackenfur watched as she flinched back, his eyes locked onto her again. He got closer and licked her muzzle back softly with a warm smile following.
"your assumption is correct", he whispered not to startle her. He gave her another lick.

Sorreltail blushed more deeply and twiddled her paws, feeling as if every eye of her Clanmates - though they probably weren't anywhere nearby - must be on her from the shadows. She smiled up at him and her eyes seemed to sparkle.
"Well, that makes me happy, then." She murmured, not sure what else to say. She leaned forward slightly and nuzzled him gently.

Brackenfur could feel a overpowering happiness for Sorreltail. A smile plastered onto his face and eyes shining with love gave away any emotion he had hid from her. Though his slight habit of not speaking came another habit of speaking to much made him a bit tongue tied.
"Sorreltail...Your so...Wow...", he said which in his mind came in full sentences. 'Sorreltail i love you. Your so beutiful. Wow i can't believe you like a furball like me.'

Sorreltail smiled crookedly at him and purred softly, nuzzling him and smiling as she sighed contentedly.
"I love you, too, mousebrain." She said gently, closing her eyes and just relaxing, letting his scent overwhelm her.

"Hey", he teased, "I'm not a mousebrain. Maybe vole but not mouse". He nuzzled agaisnt moving slighting not to disturb her. He got close enough that his tail found his way to hers. It twined weakly around hers hoping she wouldn't be taken back. His deep purr rose in the quiet place.

Sorreltail curled her own tail around Brackenfur's, pressing her muzzle against his neck and leaning into him with a contented sigh.
"I don't really care if you are a mousebrain. You'll always be my mousebrain... or volebrain. Won't you?" She purred softly.

Brackenfur gave the top of her head a affectionate lick.
"Well you will be my love, the only thing to my heart." he said softly as he took in her scent with a pleasure.

Sorreltail couldn't help but purr and smiled and rub herself against him, taking in his scent, the beautiful amber of his eyes, the broad stripes on his soft tabby pelt, the feeling of hiss warm body against hers. She could do nothing but sit in awe and think of how wonderful he was, and how lucky she was to be with him.
"So..." She meowed mischeviously, "Promise me that I will always be the lucky she-cat who holds your heart, so I won't have to envy anyone else, and I'll promise you that I won't ever love another tom as much as I love you. I'll always be true to you and you alone." She meowed, nodding and holding out her paw in a business-like manner, her face comically solemn.

He licked her head again then gave away a tiny laughter. She wasn't lucky to have me but I guess she-cats think differently. He was also not the type of guy to do that.
"I promise", he chuckled, "but it be really hard for me to love another cat, you put up a big list of stuff perfect not no one could compare to."

Sorreltail smiled and forced herself to keep looking into his eyes, to not look away, no matter how hot her fur seemed or how embarrassed she felt at being fussed over in any way.
"You're really very sweet, Brackenfur." She meowed softly, enjoying the way his name felt to her tongue.

Brackenfur looked around as the nagging feeling of him being watch but he shook it off. He couldn't help noticed how she was more embarrassed her ears were dark red.
"It just me here" he whisped "But if you want sometimes more embarrassing we could act like this in camp"

Sorreltail smiled a little.
"No thanks. I'd never hear the end of it. Especially from all those beetle-brained toms." She meowed, wrinkling her nose a little. She looked at him and flicked her tail, just drinking in her precious time to be with him.
"For now, just being alone together is enough." She sighed, pressing her shoulder to his and leaning a little into him, curling her tail around his and placing her paw a little over Brackenfur's.

Brackenfur looked down with a smile. He rested his muzzle lightly onto her head. He had no problem showing affection to Sorreltail in camp but he respectied the she-cat and that he wouldn't make her feel uncomafable in a place which they called home.
"If those beetle-brained toms mess with you just tell me, I always wanted to see one of them." he meowed softly his breath blowing hot on her ear.

"oh? My indepentant girl", he purred pushing her back a little playfully, "just tell me when you want to go back to camp. We been out here all day."
The sky was turning a deep red as the sun disappeared behind the trees. A great scene for the moments he felt.
