BIC: Sorreltail smiled as she flicked her tail and lifted her paw to take a step forward. She paused and chuckled softly.

"Yeah, it really is." She mewed, looking up at the trees and the warm sunshine filtering through.

Brackenfur started to walk slowly letting the little sun soak into his pelt. The forest was now full of prey so at the slightest crunch of a leaf made the scatter of mice or bird. Life was perfect right now and to only make it better was Sorreltail but he couldn't admit it to her. 'I wonder if she likes another cat' he thought sourly.

Sorreltail padded alongside Brackenfur, smiling as she smelled the familiar scents of the forest and saw the familiar sights. She sighed and wondered if life was always so nice and pleasant. It seemed as though, with all the tension, they never got to relax anymore. Brackenfur's so great. I don't think anyone else could make me feel so happy. She thought.

Brackenfur keep catching a glace of Sorreltail and which he got a bit more happier with her nexy to him. His mouth moved slightly to talk but words were jammed in his thoart. He gave a cough trying to speak clearly but still nothing came out. He decided just to walk next to the she-cat with peace.

Sorreltail noticed the few times Brackenfur tried to speak. She was somewhat bemused by his strange inability to speak around her. She giggled softly and bumped against him, laughing and smiling brightly at him.

"Come on, lighten up. It's a wonderful day, no need to be shy!" She laughed, purring at him.

Brackenfur wobbled slightly acting as if the little nudge acutally took him off balance. He still found words hard to say with her around but he had to talk.

"So", he mumbled taking a chance of what he was about to do, "do you like any cats". He felt his heart give a nevous tug but he couldn't take back what he just said.

Sorreltail smiled crookedly, cocking one of her whiskery brows at him.

"What do you mean, like? Do I seem like the sort of cat who hates everyone? But if you mean like like... Well, maybe. But then again..." She winked at him mischeviously and flicked his nose with her tail playfully.

Brackenfur gave a smile and gave her a stalkish stare.

"Maybe, huh? What is this lucky guy like?" he asked cooly which took a lot for he wanted to know the answer so badly. His paws hit the ground loudly as his mind was on other things then the sound he makes.

Sorreltail put on a thoughtful expression, nodding and flicking her tail every few steps.

"Oh, he's quite nice. Very brave. Handsome, too. Very, very handsome. Fun to be around. He's just wonderful." She purred, smiling at Brackenfur.

Brackenfur listened wondering who the cat might be.

"He sounds like a good guy", he meowed then he looked over at her with a smile. He felt as if he walked forever in the few minutes they had started off in.

Sorreltail grinned mischeviously and nodded.

"Oh, yes, the best." She purred. She turned and pricked her ears forward, and then darted towards the Sunningrocks. She leaped onto the nearest one and smiled up at the sky, wondering how life could really be so troubled as it had been lately. She looked down at Brackenfur and smiled.

"Come on, O bestest one." She said teasingly.

Brackenfur couldn't help but join the lovely she-cat. He shot off after her giving a gaint leap toward the rocks before he was near them. He landed on them then looked at her is eyes met hers.

"Well I guess im bias agaisnt myself then because I have a different best" he teased with a purr. His eyes refuged to leave hers, he was caught in the stare.

Sorreltail smiled and laughed.

"Oh maybe. But then again, maybe not." She mewed once more, teasing him with a flick of her tail and leaping across the rocks, smiling and laughing as the sunlight beamed down on them.

Brackenfur followed her in a trance.

"I think so, she amazing even when she doesn't know it", he meowed. He leaped toward her landing close by. The sun gave the rocks a warm feeling that bunt his pads a little where he was at.

Sorreltail smiled and sat down on one of the rocks, stretching and yawning widely as she puffed out her fur to warm herself a little. Newleaf had come, yes, but it was sometimes a bit chilly even so. The sun made it better though, as did the warm rocks beneath her paws. She turned and couldn't help grinning at Brackenfur. He was very handsome. She wondered if he was just playing with her, or if he knew she really liked him. She supposed he wasn't the sort of cat to toy with another's feelings. She trusted him. But should I tell him? She wondered.

"Hey... uh, Brackenfur?" She asked nervously, looking down and then back up at him, blushing a little.

"Yes", he meowed laying down on a cooler rock. She had his full attention. he noticed a bit of a embarrassed look on her face. He wasn't going to bring it up she look cute.

Sorreltail hesitated for a moment, and then shrugged off her nervous feelings as best as she could. After all, if he rejected her, that was just fine. She'd know he wasn't the one. But she still hoped with all of her heart that he was.

"It's you, you know." She meowed softly.

Brackenfur gave a little laugh but not at her.

"I guessed it was me", he meowed with a smile, "I think I better confess who my amazing she-cat is. That is if you haven't figuared it out yet"
