Twopaw walked away, a glimpse of hope rising in his heart. Would Otherstar come and congradualte him? Maybe try harder to be a good mom? Or would she be all caught up with Devils-Tail? He resented his half sister. He wished she didn't exist!

Otherstar walked up to Devil's-tail.
"Congrats." She purred, her daughter nodding happily. Otherstar turned to see her younger kits, not apprentices.
"Hello, congratulations little ones." She said, nuzzling Twopaw happily.

Longpaw turned to look at Flamestreak. So this was what he had to work with. She was a good size; long, powerful legs and strong shoulders - though they were not as broad as his would be when he was full grown. Her mask of ginger contrasted greatly with her piercing pale blue eyes. She padded up to him and nodded, then turned to Hundredpaw and nodded to him as well. She didn't seem the very loud type; as soon as she had gestured to him she said nothing but turned to watch the ceremony.
Destinypaw padded excitedly over to Ebonywood, smiling widely.
"Hi!" She mewed happily.
Ravennight felt a little bit of joy pierce his saddened heart at recieving not only one but two apprentices. He did not known Dreampaw or Googolpaw, but he was sure they would work hard and long. He smiled.
"Congrats." Saviorsoul whispered into his ear.

Ebonywood looked at one of her two apprentices.
"Hi, Destinypaw!" She meowed eagerly, a little bounce in her step. The two would be great partners.
Dreampaw looked at Ravennight from some distance, looking him over and memorizing every feature. Googolpaw was not as quiet and shy, and he walked up to his new mentor with a smile.
"Good day, Ravennight."

Ravennight was watching Dreampaw curiously but turned to Googolpaw as the kit spoke. He smiled at little at the formal language that he used and he smiled.
"Hey there, Googolpaw. I hear you're quite the clever one. You'll need to forgive me if I zone out on you." Ravennight meowed, amused at himself. He truly wasn't the brightest cat, though he was tactiful and relitively intelligent...

"I'll make sure you listen. Maybe you can learn a few things from me." Googolpaw said, smiling. Yet deep inside he wondered if Ravennight preferred the strange and unique kit, Dreamkit, better.
Thyme looked around, trying to search out his mentor. Medicine Cat was a good position, and it was just fate and not want that had led him to a name change and the new position he would live in.

Littlecloud had mentioned Timekit to Otherstar, and now apparently he was to be the next Medicine cat apprentice. That thought pleased Littlecloud, though he had to admit the kit was rather strange. He turned slightly and looked at the kit, then beckoned to Rubyshine. Together they padded up to the tom and he nodded his head.
"Greetings, Thyme." He meowed, although it was strange to use such a new name for the kit.

"Greetings, Nuvem, Rubio." He said with a smile and a brief nod. "It is going to be great to train with the both of you." He bowed politely and then straightened up, examining the Medicine Cats. They shared a bond he was unsure of, and he knew he had to keep their secret love away from the Clan and his mother's disapproving eyes.

The younger Medicine Cat nodded. "Salutations. It'll be quite a journey to train you. I'm sure you'll learn very fast." she glanced at Littlecloud, her eyes full of hope and regret.. How could she be falling for her own mentor? It seemed very strange to her that this was happening.
Twopaw was very happy Otherstar had said something. "I can't wait to train!" He said happily, forgiving his mom, just a little bit. Hundredpaw rolled his eyes and went to greet his new mentor and the apprentice he'd be training with.

Littlecloud nodded slightly, wondering at the kit's intent gaze. What was he thinking? Littlecloud admitted to himself it probably wasn't anything to worry about.
"I am sure you will make an excellent Medicine cat." He meowed.

"Go greet your mentors, huns." Otherstar said, gesturing Twopaw away as she turned and padded into her den. She eneded a nap.
Thyme nodded.
"I will." He said mysteriously, looking at Littlecloud with a sly smile and a wink. He was somewhat happy for the couple, but a mentor-apprentice mating was usually very rare. Especially for Medicine Cats. He wondered if they would ever admit their love for one another.

Rubyshine also wondered what this new apprentice was thinking. She knew Littlecloud would never feel anything for her, so maybe he had found out her own secret...? She hoped not.

Thyme smiled at Rubyshine, his technical mentor.
"Where should I set up a den?" He asked her, wondering if the Medicine Den was too crowded for him. Maybe he;d have to sleep in the normal Apprentice den now.

Rubyshine shook her head. "There is enough room for you in our own den, don't worry." She smiled, and led the apprentice to the den. "All we need is some comfy moss for you, and you'll be all set."

"No moss, thank you." He said, knowing that it would in the long run serve him better not to sleep on moss. Thyme began to wonder if it was a blessing and not a curse that he had bridged the gap between subconscious and conscious.

Littlecloud followed his two fellow Medicine cats. He watched Rubyshine and Thyme with a spark of interest in his eyes, and then he stretched and yawned. He supposed he had things to do.
"Well, I'd best go get some more poppy seeds. There've been so many kits lately..." He muttered, shaking his head.

Thyme nodded but said nothing, finding a spot in the far corner of the den, deep back with all the strongest-scented herbs. He knew this was where he'd stay the rest of his days as Medicine Cat, and he would start enjoying it now. He glanced at the herbs and noticed that they were just about out of Borage.
"I'll fetch some Borage Leaves." He offered emotionlessly, already feeling at home in his position.

"If you want. I know where it is." He said, shrugging his shoulders. He set off, not sure if Rubyshine was following. He scented Borage Leaves and smiled, gently biting off the stems to help preserve the leaves. He turned to see if Rubyshine had followed him.
