Runyshine had followed. "Very good," she remarked, surpirsed. This cat was very smart! "Thyme, you were definetly meant to be a Medicine Cat."

Thyme nodded, setting down the Borage. "I've seen the way you look at him. You love Littlecloud, don't you?" Thyme asked. He had to find a way around just 'knowing' things. If he told anyone, they;d think he was crazy. He just had to find a way around it all.

Feeling pride in my warrior name Dreamwhisker watched the apprentice ceremony as she saw who will take her spots in the apprentice den. going to be way full now she thought as so many were made apprentice. Walking over to Devil's-Tail confident in her walk, dreamwhisker eyes filled with pride for her and her denmate. She wondered if she had to be quiet till her vigil was over but refused to talk either way.

Rubyshine blinked. She believed Thyme wouldn't say anything. "..Yes. But he doesn't love me. I'm just stupid." she sighed and looked down, upset.

Thyme rolled his eyes. "Don't get your tail in a twist. How can you be so sure?" He had to be careful, not go telling fanciful tales like love to hopeful cats. He had to handle their love carefully, so as to not upset the natural order of how he had seen things.

Rubyshine sighed. "Do you think he feels anything? It's hard to tell sometimes. Some days he makes me feel like a cloud and other he makes me feel like I'm just an apprentices. Which, I sort of am, but..."

"Next time you talk with him, watch his eyes light up. He must feel something for you." Thyme said with a smile, flicking his tail. He put the truth simply without giving anything away. Or maybe he was... But as long as Rubyshine did not question him, he was free to enjoy the abilities of knowledge to an extent.

Rubyshine just nodded, confused with Thyme. He knew almost everything. Would they ever have to teach him anything? She thought of a hard herb, one that grew in TrueClan but was very rare. "Have you ever seen any Astralagus Around here?" She asked slyly.

"The herb helps boost a cat's immune system, prevents Whitecough and some Greencough cases, and treats common throat infection. Also commonly known as Astragalus. Patch that way yonder, not too far." Thyme said, flicking his tail with a smile. He didn't want to be too freaky, nor too abnormal, but Rubyshine was challenging him. He had to meet said challenge with full force.

[[He can't know everything....]]
Rubyshine nodded. "Right. I'll quiz you. Do you know where the Betony is? Or what is heals?"

[[You don't know what Thyme saw... Anything in his future he knows... He is special, remember?]]
"Betony? Doesn't it treats fevers, diarrhoea, aching throat, sore mouth, bleeding internally, and helps your heart and liver?" Thyme already knew the answer, but he was probably scaring Rubyshine now. He just wished he wasn't inclined to perfection this way. "It's usually found in a dried, more moory climate, right?" He continued with a grin.

Rubyshine shook her head, mystified." "Yeah," she muttered. she felt like she was being upstaged by this apprentice. If he knew everything, why did he even want to be teached? "Hyssop? Jojojopo? Lady's Mantle? Myrrh?" She challenged, eyes glittering with annoyance.

Thystle purred in amusement. "Help with Whitecough and some Greencough cases, but harmful to pregnant she-cats. Helps cure frostbite. Skin problems, uncommonly used because of our fur. Helps fight bacteria, especially oral." Thyme said, and then sighed. He curled his tail around his paws and met his mentor's gaze with a strange intensity that clouded his usually expressionless eyes. "I'm not like other cats, Rubyshine. Don't tell anyone that I'm different, because I only want to be accepted." He meowed sadly, wishing he wasn't a freak. Wishing he didn't know. Because knowing could be painful. Very painful.

"It's okay." she muttered, tail tip twitching. she now felt oddly stupid compared to Thyme. "We won't have to teach you anything. You know everything." She turned away from him and began heading back to camp.

Thyme hated making her feel bad, but there was nothing he could say. He couldn't say. He wasn't to speak now, so he wouldn't. It was all very confusing, but he didn't care. He just wanted to be accepted. Rubyshine would probably tell everyone he was a freak genius, but what could he do? He put on his expressionless face again and padded quckly after her, grabbing his pile of herbs for the camp.
