Hollyleaf looked down at her paws with embarrassment Then she felt a kick. "Oh, Mountainfur feel." She purred taking his paw to her belly so he could feel their kits. She is now due any day now. "This is so exciting isn't, Mountainfur? In a few days we're going to be parents. Maybe we should think of names? I like Featherkit." She meowed curling her tail with his.

The name made him twitch. Featherkit...
"How about, if we have a tom, we can name him Taintedkit? After my dad, you see..." Mountainfur sighed, feeling the sadness once again well up in him.
"And I like Applekit, after my mother, if we have another shekit. So Featherkit, Taintedkit, Applekit..." Mountainfur purred happily. This was fun!
[Since there is only one she-kit born, her name shall be Featherkit.]

Saviorpaw coughed.
"Ehem, sorry to break up this lovely scene, but there's something going on. Canyonpaw and Mistpaw are missing." He informed them, turning to his brother and sister.
"Saviorpaw's right. We should look for them. They could be lost..." Ashfire meowed. Nightpaw sniffed.
"What, them? No way! They're not mousebrains!" He exclaimed.
"Seems like it to me if they go wandering into Twoleg territory." Ashfire muttered. Saviorpaw flicked his tail impaitently.
"Nether-the-less this is a bad situation." He reminded them gently.

"Saviorpaw! I knew it! Honestly, of all the cats to forget..." Mountainfur shook his head.
"Well, I only saw Canyonpaw. No Mistpaw. 'Fraid we've got some missing kitties on our case now." Mountainfur sighed. How he wished to be at home, in his warm nest, with his love and forever mate. That would be very nice at the moment.

Ashfire closed her eyes.
"Should we split up and search for them?" She asked. Saviorpaw flicked his tail and sighed, but siad nothing. This was one plan he couldn't really put any input into. If they stayed, their friends could be hurt. If they went, they could get lost. It was a no win situation at this point.

"You can come with me." Ashfire meowed, stepping to her side. She felt protective over the queen for some reason, call it sisterly instict or something along those lines. She turned to look at her brothers, wondering what their friends had gotten themselves into.

"I call going with you two, then." Mountainfur smiled. Then Hollyleaf spoke. He hadn't realized how this could effect Ashfire; the cats had to be good friends. He sighed, brushing her face with his tail-tip.

"As long as you follow what your heart tells you, you can go with my blessing. I will pray to StarClan that your decision will be the best one in the long run." She meowed, brushing Hollyleaf's shoulder with her tailtip.

"Let's get going, then!" Mountainfur bounced along, eager to be headed out. The quicker they found them, the better.
"Maybe we should try... TrueClan? They could have found the camp, and wanted to stay..." Mountainfur offered, sighing. It was their best bet, and a good place to start. And if Ebonytail was there, it made finding her a lot easier...
