Duskgaze smiled. "I feel the same" he mewed. "Don; worry, no comments will come between us" he said.

Athena hoped so. But the world she lived in had many twits and turns, and was constantly changing. 'That's no way to think.' she thought. 'We will live happily together, have a family, and care for each other.'

Don't cry to me. If you loved me, You would be here with me. You want me, Come find me. Make up your mind.
[/center] The she-cat sat staring moodily at the obvious couple. She had escaped the wild struggle for survival as a Rouge to come into a murderous Clan and what had she found? All this drama and mushy love. She was tired of it. Her cold crystal green eyes stared at the one cat she knew out of them. The cat called Duskgaze. She felt a resentment towards him building up. Her silver ears flicked back and made her look hostile, but then she relaxed. She had heard their words, however softly spoken. She had always been known for her keen hearing - or at least better known that usual. The she-cat stood, and the sunlight caught her dark ebony spots and made them stand out against her lighter pelt. She padded over to them and stood a little ways away, her eyes fixed on some other event passing through the as usually-busy camp. "You'd be wise to not be so openly affectionate. That'll get you killed." She said it mostly to the she-cat. The toms almost never suffered. They got away with everything. She flicked her tail and nodded then stood. Anaconda remembered her past, the hurts that still tore at her already-scratched raw heart. She had no more room for sorrow... She had made up her mind. Anaconda would never trust another cat again.

Athena flinched at the words. "What do you mean?" she asked, smoothly but strongly. 'Were all the cats in this clan like that?' she wondered. "Oh, and I'm Athena." she meowed. Athena glanced at Duskgaze with worried eyes.

Anaconda looked at the she-cat closely. Innocent. Just as I was once. Just as almost all of us were. She closed her eyes and nodded her head slightly.
"It's common knowledge in SilenceClan. All the cats who have betrayed us to the Clans have left because of relationships and love and all that nonsense. If you have any loyalty or wish to survive... you would hide those pathetic emotions. No cat will trust you." She meowed. She turned but then looked over her shoulder at Athena.
"And I suppose manners are manners. I am Anaconda." She meowed. The snake...

Dirigo rolled her eyes. "Chill, Anaconda. You know as well as I do love means kits, which means more cats for the battle against you-know-who." she sighed. That wasn't entirely true. She fell in love with Blazepath because...well, she didn't exactly know. All she knew was that they'd be together forever. "I'm Dirigo." she announced the the new cat, Athena. "I means 'I Lead'. Remember it. My siblings are Oneida and Excelsior." At the sound of her name Oneida stalked up to Dirigo with gray eyes. The biggest female in SilenceClan towered over Anaconda, Athena, and Dirigo especially. Dirigo could be the smallest cat in SilenceClan, but she was very cunning and clever.

Conda was not at all affected by the size of Dirigo's sister. She eyed the she-cat without much emotion in her clear emerald eyes.
"You are blind if you think love produces strong kits. The strongest are kits bred for strength or speed." She meowed. Love has nothing to do with it. It is an unneccesary obtsacle.

Athena blushed. 'Kits!' she thought 'Not yet, but I wonder what they would look like...' You could tell everything Athena was thinking by the expresions on her face. She moved closer to Duskgaze.

Oneida stared at Athena strongly. "You seem a little soft for SilenceClan. Just remember, that pretty white pelt of yours will get splattered with blood pretty soon." She turned and walked away, shooting a murderous glance at Conda. I'd kill her if I ever had the chance. she's too much like...Whisper.

The thin tom seemed to pop out of nowhere, a stupid grin plastered on his face. Conda started as his breath warmed the fur on her cheek. She shied away and he shook his head at her.
"Don't go scarin' the poor girl. Hey, there, Athena. Couldn't help overhearin' and seeing as you're new and all, thought I'd drop in to put a few words to good use. The name's Scavenger, but Scab'll do just fine, it's less of a mouthful. Don't listen to ole Conda here, she's a worry wart if ever there was one. She jus' cares 'bout ya, make no mistake." He purred. Conda glared at him but said nothing.

Dirigo looked at Scab quickly and looked away. Well. Conda must think he's annoying. Suddenly she felt a horrible pain stab her heart. They are all good friends. All I have is Oneida and Excelsior and Blazepth. she sighed painfully, wishing she was part of the 'It' crowd.

Athena chuckled, although she wasn't quite sure if she should have. She straightened up. 'Too soft.' the she cat thought. 'I'll show them soft by slicing their throats and ripping out their internals...' Once more you could tell everything she was thinking by the look on her face. You aways could. Athena didn't know if that was a good thing, or a bad thing, but it made other cats feel like they could read her mind. She dug her claws into the soil below her. These cats didn't know who she really was...
Athena suddenly cooled it. This was no place to get into a fight.

Anaconda examined the she-cat's face coldly. Hmm, maybe she's made of something after all. She turned to Scab and wrinkled her nose at him.
"You smell like dung." She commented. He smiled sheepishly.
"Yeah, well, Howl shoved me in some when we were hunting. It's so hard to find good friends these days." Scab said, shaking his head sadly.

Athena felt like she was going to laugh her guts out, but held back the extremely loud laugh. The she cat laid down where she was standing, only a second ago. "So what are you all called as a group?" she asked.

Duskgaze stared at Anaconda. His dark eyes glared at her. "I'd watch what you say Anaconda" he warned. He wrapped his tail protectively around Athena. He turned his gaze to Oneida. "She will fight if she wants to fight" he mewed. He nodded to Scab. "Thanks for the help Scab" he mewed. He was biting his tongue, he didn't want to explode on them.

Scab smiled.
"Hey, no problem. And don't worry 'bout the other cats here. Except for that captain. I heard she stole one her brother's kits and killed it when she found out about the whole thing. But hey... the rest of them are pretty decent." Scab said smiling. Conda looked at him and then flicked her tail.
"I will say what I must, tom." She hissed coldly.

Duskgaze nodded. "Most cats are decent to the other SilenceClanners" he mewed. His dark gaze stared coldly at Conda. "Say whatever you wish, just not to us" he mewed.

Athena looked up at Duskgaze. She stood up. "I love you." the she cat whispered in his ear. "They were talking about kits. Do you like kits?" Athena hoped the answer would be yes. She also hoped none of the other cats had heard her.
