• Appearance: A broad-shouldered dark brown tabby with long striped fur. His claws are a pale creme color, and his tail is long but strangely dented in its center, making it look like a broken branch. Brokentail's eyes are amber, and his ears are torn slightly. He has long, powerful legs, and a strong body. His face is broad and flat, and his belly fur is streaked with so many black stripes that there is no visible brown fur beneath it. His whiskers are white, and his nose is black, while his tail-tip is streaked with black so that it looks like its covered in it.
  
  
• Personality: Brokentail is very cruel-hearted, but on the outside he's merely a sarcastic cat who cares for nothing but himself and his Clan, it seems. Brokentail is harsh and never gives anyone a chance to just sit around. They have to work, always. He's outspoken about his thoughts on how old apprentices are when they begin training, and he's always got a new idea for the Clan. But needless to say his ideas go unnoticed, making him bitter towards the cats who seemed to shun him at every turn. Brokentail is clever, though, and strong. One day, he'll show them all...
  
  
• History: Brokentail's parents' names were Raggedstar and Yellowfang. Raggedstar was the leader of the Clan, and Yellowfang was the medicine cat. After giving birth to her kits (three of them, but only Brokentail survived), she gave Brokentail to a queen named Lizardstripe to raise. Everyone believed that the deputy, Foxpelt, had been the mother, and that suited her just fine. But she died in a fight anyway, so that was that. The reason for his name was more or less Yellowfang's sorrow at having to give up her kit, and losing the others, though every other cat thought it was because of the strange "dent" in his tail, making it look like a broken branch. When his father died ('cause apparently that's what happened O.o) he became ambitious, wanting the title of leader himself. But when Talonclaw became the deputy, then leader, instead of him, and when Stormcloud was chosen as the next deputy, well that didn't sit well with Brokentail... not one bit.
  
  
• RP Example: Brokentail sat beside a colored stone in the camp, his eyes completely void of emotion. He was thinking. Every cat knew not to even come near him when he was thinking. Suddenly an adventurous kit, who apparently didn't know the way things worked around the camp, leaped onto Brokentail's strangely dented tail. He turned, snarling, and the kit squealed and darted off. Brokentail liked his tail-tip a few times before returning to his composed state. When I'm leader, snot-nosed little kits will have to be apprenticed by the age of three moons. That way they won't be jumping on my tail, and Shadowclan will have more experianced warriors. He thought, curling his lip slightly as a devious look entered his eye. He turned suddenly and smiled at Stormcloud, the deputy. She walked past him, inclining her head slightly in acknoledgement. Brokentail smirked, watching her crossing the camp. You won't be bowing your head when I'm done with you.
