Cookie smiled as the warm dawn sun warmed her, She got to her paws, blinking the sleep out of her eyes. She looked down and smiled at her kits.
Sparrow lay beside Cookie, his amber eyes gleaming. "Mornin' Ma" he squeaked.
"Morning sweetie" she mewed. She gave him a quick morning groom. "Morning Sighingwind" she purred.

OOC: If one's Birdie we can make a seperate thread somewhere with Gaara if you like. Otherwise sure.
BIC: Sighingwind had been awake and was playing with Raven. The kit was batting at his father's short tail, squealing with joy when he caught it in between his paws. Sighingwind grinned and turned to Cookie, blinking warmly.
"He's such a cute little buddy," he said happily.

Farasi needed to get out, and he wasn't about to sit around the big Mansion and do nothing. He stood, stretching and padding out of his home. He missed the warm sun on his pelt, the soft stars at night and the tribal dances. He stared at Jua, who was outside yelling at his mate, Panya. The kits who had been playing in the yard turned and watched sadly. Since they had come here, their mother and father did nothing but fight. Farasi blinked, sighing. Love was such a difficult trouble. He knew from experience. Turning, he watched Majani pad happily back from a meeting with his mate Princess. Honestly, what was with all this love> Majani spotted his brother and smiled, walking up to him.
"Wanna go on a walk?" He asked, Farasi blinked in confusion. "You have to learn cat sometime!" Majani sighed.
"Anataka kwa aende enda?" Farasi smiled.
"Sawa." He meowed half-heartedly, and the two walked in silence. Eventually, Farasi heard something. He quickly found a small family, and growled unhappily. Majani quickly followed, padding forward and taking a much nicer approach.
"Marahaba and many greetings!" The golden striped tom called out in a friendly voice.

Cookie smiled. "They're quite a pawful" she mewed.
Sparrow smiled. He got to his paws and crawled towards his brother. He pounced at him.
Cookie turned to where the voices came from. She was taken by surprise.

"No startles meant." Majani said with a purr of amusement, flicking his tail. "We live in the Mansion. The big white house. We are somewhat new here. Four moons exactly." He meowed, smiling. "I am Majani. This is my brother, Farasi." Farasi frowned but said nothing.

Sighingwind smiled but turned, bristling, when he scented intruders. He relaxed, though, when one of them spoke. He sensed no threat - at least not from the one called Majani. But the other one, Farasi... well, Sighingwind felt he would have to keep an eye on that one.
"Nice to meet you, Majani, Farasi. I'm Sighingwind, and this is my mate, Cookie, and our kits Sparrow and Raven." He meowed with a proud smile. Raven, his eyes huge, stared up at the strangers as if they were StarClanners come down to wish him goodmorning. Sighingwind smiled at his son.

"Kits. Lovely." Majani meowed, remembering his own children. Five, and all beautiful and amazing. Silver, Sugar, Cloud, Zoe and Kayli. Cloud had been given to Princess's brother, Firestar, and Silver had only recently run away. As soon as she had opened her eyes, actually, and realized what it meant to be owned. But he saw her around. The only one he didn't see was his only son, and the firstborn, Cloud. How he wished she had chosen to give another of their kits away. But it had been her choice, and Majani had to deal with it. Farasi flicked his tail, figuring his brother was thinking about his family. Majani took a quick look at his brother, than back to Sighingwind and Cookie.
"Don't mind him. He is always like that."

Sighingwind gave a brisk nod.
"I can understand that. Met a few of them in my time; it's just their way." He meowed, smiling slightly. Raven blinked and made a high-pitched noise in the back of his throat, staring with unblinking eyes at Majani. Sighingwind chuckled.
"I think he likes you." Raven grinned, too, and purred as his father stroked him with his tail tip.

Cookie smiled. Her green eyes studied them. "Hello" she mewed.
Sparrow looked up with a curious look. He studied them and shook his head. "They're bad mama" he mewed. He opened his maw to reveal his tiny sharp teeth and hissed weakly.

Raven glowered and hissed at his brother. He wasn't very good at talking, but he could attempt.
"Ey luk dem!" He squeaked. Sighingwind grinned slightly at his sons.

"Handfuls. The lot of them." Farasi hissed weakly at Sparrow, knowing hate when he saw it. Majani rolled his eyes. The two were most definitely not evil, at least not Majani. Farasi, maybe, but not Majani.

Sighingwind nodded sligthly.
"Yes, they can be a bit rambunctious but such is a kit's way." He meowed. Raven peered up at him and frowned curiously, and then he let out a squeak and rolled onto his back, batting his paws in the air. He looked at the upside-down figure of Majani and squeaked again. Sighingwind laughed at his son's antics.
"But you have to love them." He purred, rubbing Raven's belly with his tail tip. The kit squirmed in delight, letting out a playful mew.

"Oh, I love mine to death." Majani agreed with a nod. He smiled, turning to face his brother.
"Sal. Jou nee bekom genot." Farasi nodded, turning and padding away quickly. Majani turned back to the other cats and smiled.
"Where to you live? Around?"

"A Mansion? The big white house down the road?" Majani asked, curious. That was where his family resided, and if the two cats belonged to the same people... It was weird they hadn't met before.
