Renegade gasped and shook his head weakly.
"I'm not built for speed, I'm afraid." He said breathlessly. He smiled slightly and laughed.
"But I guess I can't refuse... playing with you more often. My sister never does this sort of thing." He said, grinning.

"Nah. We were always ignored and mistreated. My sis and I always got into mischief. I don't really think that is what you mean by playing, though." He meowed, frowning. Especially not the getting beaten to a pulp for misbehaving part.

Sparkeheart was puzzled. She smiled as a thought rolled through her head. She crouchjed down and jumped at him playfully.

Renegade was startled. Why was she attacking him? He leaped out of the way, bristling.
"What? Did I say something wrong?" He asked, angry. So she wasn't so much different than Chaos after all. He says one bad thing and she's on him like he was a plump mouse with a broken leg!

Renegade relaxed and stared at her blankly.
"Oh." He looked down at his paws and then sighed.

Renegade grunted and stared into her eyes. He was slightly confused.
"Cute?" He echoed. Was that a good thing? Chaos had always called him cute as an insult. Perhaps I should start thinking of Sparkheart as exactly opposite of Chaos. He thought sullenly.

Renegade stared up into her eyes. He could feel his heartbeat hard against his chest, and a warm feeling creeped up inside of him. Almost on instinct he leaned forward and gently licked her muzzle.

Renegade was startled but pleased when she licked him back. He didn't know what he was feeling, but he liked it. He smiled at Sparkheart.

Renegade's eyes widened. Love? Was that what it was called? His gaze softened.
