The she-cat crept her way into the ShadowClan camp entrance. Her nervousness spiked at her fur and nipped at her mind. She waited for the sudden burst of claws at her side, a ShadowClanner who knew she was ThunderClan. In truth, she wanted to join this Clan, to live out her days with her mate, Stonesearch.
She waited for him to catch up, and her eyes steetled on the den in the far back of the camp. A few ShadowClanners looked up, their eyes untrustworthy and their snarls forming in the back of their throats. "Lead the way," Pacingwaters said tho Stonesearch, her eyes darting from the hostile Clan members and the den in the back.

Stonesearch glared at any cat who dared to snarl at his mate. He pressed his side against hers, motioning with a flick of his ear to Articstar's den.
"Come on." He murmured, hissing softly at a nearby tom. He felt his blood boil, and the edge of his vision blurred red. He felt the instincts to kill rise up inside of him, but he smothered it and led Pacingwaters hastily to Articstar's den.
"Articstar?" He called out, his tail tip twitching in irritation at his Clanmate's reactions.

Arcticstar was in her den, her eyes closed. But she was not sleeping. She was thinking very hard. She heard a cat's call, and she stood up slowly and came to the entrance of her den. "Come in, Stonesearch," she said, not noticing the timid cat beside him. She looked over his shoulder, and suddenly stiffened. ThunderClan she-cat. What was going on here?

Stonesearch dipped his head and stepped into the den. He didn't know if Pacingwaters wanted to speak for herself or not, but he would begin, anyway.
"This is Pacingwaters, from ThunderClan," he explained. "She wanted to talk to you." That was a good way to start, he thought. At least he hoped.

Pacingwater's eyes grew big What would she say? "Er... Hi Arcticstar. I was.. well... I.. want to join your Clan." she looked down to the floor of the den. She was prepared for rejection. she braced herself, her eyes squeezed shut. Her ears twitched, and her tail flicked around nervously.
"Well." Arcticstar began, her eyes wary. "I guess that's be alright, but you'll have restrictions. You must always be with another warrior when you leave camp. You always have to be able to fight your Clanmates, even your family and friends." She stopped talking, and looked over to Stonesearch. "Get her something to eat, and show her where sh'll be sleeping." she had her suspicions about Stonesearch and Pacingwaters... she guessed that they were mates, which was against the warrior code... but now she was a ShadowClanner. Things would be different.

Stonesearch dipped his head and turned to go. He padded to the freshkill pile and picked out a plump mouse. It would be closest to what she was used to. He carried it over to the place he usually ate and sat down.
"Go ahead and eat." He said quietly. He was relieved that Articstar had accepted Pacingwaters, but he was wary, too. He stood looking as if he didn't care, but in actuality he really did. His eyes narrowed. This was going to get tricky for him. He'd have to ease into letting everyone know that he was mates with Pacingwaters. After all, she had just moved to the Clan. He was glad, though, that she would be with him now. If she needed a Warrior with her at all times, he'd fill up as much of that time as he could. He'd teach her everything about ShadowClan... well, everything he knew, anyway. He felt a warmth fill his chest and he smiled slightly.
