Name: Ashwraith
Age: 14 moons
Gender: She-cat
Appearance:
[pelt:] she has a grey tabby pelt with no particular differences from a normal cat's besides a few ginger patches here and there.
[noteable markings:] she has only a few patches - most ginger in color - but nothing else
[eyes:] her eyes are grey
[claws:] silver-hued
[build:] she has silkier and shorter fur than her siblings, but her build is somewhat the same. she's the smallest of the five.
Personality: Ash is surprisingly to some the most energetic of all her siblings. She's always doing screwbrained things and acting up, and no cat can tell her to do otherwise. She's as stubborn as Angel and as keen as Shadowcross, but she lacks the common sense that her sisters have. _Taken by Flameh_
History: Greetings, traveler. Do you seek me for any odd reason? Oh, I see. Just passing through. That's good. This place is not one to linger. Ny name is Mourningwraith - don't ask much about my past, for it is... not kind. How did I die, you ask? I should wonder that one living could reach this domain of the skies. But my death is not important. You ask of Okkurein, the young kit I watched over? She is alive, and that is all that matters to me. My thoughts are for my own kits now that I cannot help Okkurein any longer. You have never heard of my kits? I am not surprised. They were born in the hollow at the Wind and River Clan borders. I named them Clan names, as my mother named me Mourningkit... after my father's death. I named my kits things that spoke to me. Shadowkit, my firstborn, Deathkit, my second, Pheonixkit, my third... My mate, Foxfire, named the last two. He named Angelkit and Ashkit, and together we melded the lives of loners and Clan members as we taught them honor and stability and strength. Shadowkit showed much promise. But my kits were not destined for me... their lives lay beyond my reach. On their sixth moon, the story of my mate unraveled, and they were angry that he, a lowly kit thrown out of every single Clan, would tell them all these things and expect them to live up to the code he could not keep. My mate was saddened, but it was nothing like the sorrow I felt when the kits demanded to know my history. I told them, and Deathkit left immediately. He wanted nothing more to do with me and Foxfire. Pheonixkit followed his brother, Angelkit followed him, and Shadowkit finally left with Ashkit trailing after her. But they left not before I could give them what I called their "warrior names" but what they considered the parting kiss of our relationship. Shadowcross... after the pain I bore all the seasons before her and her father... Deathwing, for the future I knew awaited me and the past that had stolen my comrades... Pheonixfrost for the cold hope that had lingered within me, but which was slowly dying... Ashwraith and Cursedangel were my mate's doing really. He named Ash after me... and Cursedangel after his mother, really - a Medicine cat who had rejected the true codes and bore kits... he told me of Wolf, his strong brother... of Sighingwind, his valiant friend... and of another, smaller hope... a cat whose blood runs now through ThunderClan veins.... I wonder sometimes, if all of these cats will one day meet and will the truth come out? I don't know. But I hope that my kits will live fulfilled lives.... for I have seen only a little of their agony here, after spending the last seasons of my life trying to repay what I had failed to give them in taking care of Okkurein. I hope she has a good life, as well. But I know she won't have an easy one. Good luck to you, traveler. May you return when you have spent out your life and tell me happier tidings.
