Scavenger smirked.
"Oh, I can see that. Good for you, my feather-tailed friend. Finally found yourself a shela." He said, winking at Howl, who shrank a bit in embarrassment.
"Scavenger, Icesong, Icesong this is my sometimes brutally cheerful friend Scavenger." He muttered.
"Scab is just fine." The tom meowed, smiling in a friendly way, though his tail twitched with amusement.

"I was lookin' for Howl. Never know where that young rip goes off to. I worry about him sometimes. But I see he is in good paws." Scab meowed, transitioning between a shake of the head to a smile and a nod. Howl glared at him frostily.
"Mhm. I'm sure I give you gray whiskers, mother." He said scathingly. Scab looked horrified.
"What have I ever been if not a friend?"
"A worry wart?" Howl teased. Scab scoffed.
"As if!" He cried.

Icesong giggled. "You two are funny together." she meowed sweetly.They reminded her of two mates in their older years bickering of a tiny little problem.

Scab pulled a face.
"Funny, my dear Icesong? We are bickering friends, not at all amusing!" He cried indignantly.
"Ah, stow it, fluffhead." Howl snorted. Scab smiled mischeviously and flicked his tail.
"Perhaps I should tell your pretty little shela about the time you fell off that one-"
"NO!" Howl growled so quickly Scab just shut his mouth and chuckled.

Scab smiled slyly and Howl glared at him.
"It's not at all a good story, Icesong-" he began, but Scab interupted him;
"Not a good story! My dear, it is one of the most thrilling and absolutely embarrassing on Howl's part I have ever not spoken! There we were, standing in an alleyway, cornered by three-"
"It was two, Scab; just two dogs. She doesn't want to hear about it." He said, looking at her imploringly while Scab smiled at her and winked.

"If I said I didn't want to hear it, I'd be lieing..." she admitted. Icesong flicked Howl with her tail playfully. "I'm sure it's not that embarrassing. Anyway, what type of relationship would we have, if we're not willing to share things with each other?"
The beautiful she-cat smiled sweetly, trying to make herself look irresistible. 'Smooth move.' she thought to herself. 'I just hope he answers it the way I want him too...'

Scab grinned at the blushing Howl.
"I knew it! You've hooked one, buddy, way-to-go! Anyways, so there we were, concerned by... I'm told, two humongous dogs... They're growling and spittin' all over us, and we've got no place out... 'Well buddy', says I, 'This is it'. Howl decides, however, to be an idiot and leaps on top of the first dog's head. Well, he got thrown clear into kindgom come by that mongrel, crashin' through a fence and tumblin' into a Twoleg's garden, let me tell ya!" Scab exclaimed, shaking his head.
"The gate was loose." Howl muttered.

"I belive you." Icesong meowed to Howl while rubbing her head on his shoulder. "At least you got out, right?"
She sat down and curled her tail around her paws. "So...has anything emmbaresing happened to Scab?" she meowed, looking at Howl.

"Nothing so bad as having a Twoleg want to adopt you and loving you up so badly his fur was messed up for a week." Scab snorted.
"Better than getting eaten by dogs. And as far as Scab goes he's too much of a airhead to get embarrassed. The only thing he ever sucks at is getting she-cats to follow him around." Howl meowed, smirking at Scab's indignant expression.
"I detest that remark!" He cried.

Icesong laughed. These two cats were like brothers! "How'd you two come to scilence clan?" she meowed. There weren't any big dogs on this territory, so she figured they weren't from here.

Howl's expression became more somber, and Scab sighed.
"Oh, what a woeful tale it is. We came from Twolegplace, don't you know, just off a ways from ThunderClan. Wasn't at all nice there, you know. Not at all nice." He meowed, shaking his head.

Icesong sighed.The coversation was getting depressing, and she was surprised they hadn't asked her anything. Her gaze lifted from the two cats and examened the tree they sat below once more. I wonder what True Clan is like... she thought.

Howl, somewhat uncomfortable in the silence for once, cleared his throat and turned to Icesong.
"Anyways, what about you? I mean, we can't be the only cats with stories! Where do you come from?" He asked eagerly.
