Wolfstar sighed.
"Not exactly. Making decisions for many other cats has always been difficult for me, though. This one time I was leading a patrol of alleycats - well, I suppose that's what you would call it - to deal with this dog that had been attacking their friends. The brute had actually killed a few cats. Well, let me tell you if I had done one thing differently - messed up in any way, those cats could have been goners. It's stressful, I tell you, holding other cat's lives in your paws." He meowed, shaking his head.

Emberstare nodded. "Your not aone though" she mewed "you have Blackclaw, your senior warriors and me." She nuzzled his chest, purring deeply.

Wolfstar smiled.
"Yeah, I guess I do have some cats. Still... I find it hard to believe in myself sometimes. But then I remembered Stormstar, when she looked at me and told me she believed in me... I guess that helps. She was a very wise and gracious leader. I mniss her." He sighed.

Emberstare nodded. "She was a good leader, she allowed me to train as a blind warrior, unlike other leader's that would've sent me to the elder's den" she mewed. "But we can't dwell on the past, we have to look to RiverClan's future with you" she mewed.

"I think the past teaches so much. Without it, we would make so many mistakes over and over again. Look at the Warrior code. All lessons we have learned and applied to our everday lives." He said, smiling a little.

Wolfstar shrugged.
"Pain sometimes, yes, but other times happiness, blissful memories shrouded in ones we have left behind and not forgotten. Sometimes one must feel pain to learn or remember or feel anything at all. For without pain there wouldn't be true happiness. Without evil, no good. Without cowardice, no courage. It is the balance of things." He meowed gently.

OOC: What is this? Why Flameh, why? Am I really that uninspiring? *sighs* Is so sad... feeling one's efforts are for nothing. -.-
BIC: Wolfstar nodded slightly, looking off into what seemed the horizon. His mind began to wander over past friends, past adventures... he missed the carefree life of a rouge sometimes. Uniformity and strict rules didn't always rest well with him. He was sick of regulations, but now he had responsibilities. I wonder how I'll fair as Leader, when the Warrior Code... well, it's just not what I was raised on. He thought.
