Emberpaw looked at the two toms. "You too stop being loners and talk" she mewed, seriously. Her amber eyes stared at both of them.

Larkpaw shifted uncomfortably. Why did she want to make them talk? They had nothing to talk about. He decided to voice his thoughts as polite as he could. 'Why do you want us to talk?' he asked the she-cat, his voice less macabre but with a tuft of annoyance and brightness. 'We have nothing in common to talk about...' He glanced at Polarpaw, wondering if the tom was thinking the same. |

Polarpaw rolled his eyes, getting up and walking a ways away from them both so that he couldn't hear them. They were all getting on his nerves. Breaking the rules, and at what cost? A bunch of kittens blabbing about herbs and then commanding obedience and friendliness. He shook his head, deep in thought.

Emberpaw rolled her eyes. She took a deep breath, and just shook her head. "Here's a thing, we're all misfits" she mewed. "We're all outcasts, we're clan embaressmets."

Shadepaw looked up a bit to fast as he felt a since of dizziness come over him. "Well I like the loneliness sometimes" he meowed quietly. He had to admit a good talk here and there was a great pleasure but his akewardness caused him to say something embarrassing.

Larkpaw wouldn't have imagined someone as Emberpaw would say that. 'Yeah we are' he agreed. 'We are almost like loners, except we have a 'paw' after our names. But one way or another, how are you an outcast? You're like the most popular apprentice! How do you explain that?' Larkpaw demanded. Clearly, this was Emberpaw's attempt at becoming closer to Polarpaw. |

Emberpaw just looked at Larkpaw. "Really, i'm not" she mewed "they only talk to me to make fun of me." "I'm way to nice to be here, most of these cats make my pelt crawl, with all their 'fighting solves everything' attititude."

Larkpaw snorted. 'Yeah right! You're like the happiest cat in the planet. You don't have to bear the rejection I get,' He glanced at Polarpaw wondering if he was thinking the same. 'Or the responsibility in Shadepaw's shoulders. You have the easiest life ever.'

Emberpaw rolled her eyes. "You think being a clumsy embaressment is easy" she said "or being harrased every day of your life by you younger siblings that are supposed to look up at you." "I think my life is pretty darn difficult" she mewed.

Larkpaw was unsure of how to convince Emberpaw that her life was good. 'Do you... expect me to sympathize with you or something? Because if you had an insight of how hard my life was, you'd feel good about yourself.' He sighed. 'At least you have siblings... I'm completely alone.' |

Shadepaw looked at both as they bickered back and forth. "Atleast you have your clanmates. In the end they will fight beside you and stand for the same thing", he meowed roughly, "I have no one but Bluefeather and she sends me to find herbs so I barely able to have a real conversation with a cat. Now talk about alone, I have to live in secrets."

Larkpaw was startled. 'You think we are... friends?' He blinked. 'You mean us, the two of us, friends?' He was astonished but Shadepaw bought him back to reality. 'Well when you're like me, you're less than a secret. You're invisible. At least soon enough, you'll become the third most important cat in ShadowClan.' |

Larkpaw felt somehow flattered and shrank in his seat. 'Thanks, I guess...' he mumbled. He glanced at the unresponsive Polarpaw and wonder if he also considered him his friend. 'Now that we're...' it took him a while to assimilate with the word. 'Friends... What do we do?' |
