This is what I brought you this you can keep... This is what I brought you may forget me. I promise you my heart just promise one thing...... The tom's thick brown-creme-white fur was fluffled up against the wind, his back turned to its source. His brown ears were pinned against his skull, and his cold grey-blue eyes fixed on seemingly nothing. His black claws were fixed in the earth before him, and as he sat there he just listened... He listened to the wind, to the sky... Right... now! He leaped onto his paws and darted forward, leaping at the rabbit that'd come slowly from its burrow. It tried to dive for cover again but the tom was too quick. He swiped a claw across its hind leg, maiming it, and then crashed down upon its neck, snapping is spine savagely with a flexing of his powerful jaws. He dropped the rabbit and raised his bloodied jaws. He gave a savage yowl, which sounded oddly dog-like. It was his "battlecry". Scab had taught him that appearances were important, and since his name was Howl his battlecry had to be similar. Howl knelt down and took a bite out of his prey, flicking his tail with disinterest. Now that he'd killed his prey there was no more excitement. He hated boring things. He wished something would happen. Maybe something would. He sighed. Or then again maybe not.Kiss my eyes and lay me to sleep.

Oneida heard a confident battlecry and smiled. Her audits gazed into a dark forest, though she knew her way arounbd. Leaping through thick spruces and pines, the darknening forest around her made her feel comfortable and right. She soon found he, the noise maker, staring in disinterest at a rabbit beautifully maimed and killed. "You seem like a skilled hunter, Tom, but you lose interest quickly. Impatient, are you?" Oneida said smartly, calico pelt hidden behind spruce branches. Her clear blue eyes blazed in the dark trees, and she lashed her tail smartly.

Howl didn't look up from his prey as he dabbed at it halfheartedly with a dark paw.
"Life is one big dissapointment after another. You learn to ignore everything else, even the thrill of a catch." He meowed emotionlessly, his pale blue-grey eyes flickering as he looked up at the she-cat. He didn't recognize her, but he figured she lived in SilenceClan. After all, she certaintly smelled like she came from his Clan.

"The Philosipher, eh?" Oneida said, reveailing her large but beauteous self. Eyes blazing like a cold fire, she stared at the rabbit, which was disfigured and broken. "You really got this one." she said in wonder. Even she, the most sadistic out of her siblings, couldn't harm a creature like this. but she certainly could try. but yet again, Excelsior may be a tiny more evil than her-he was, after all, the one her murdered there mother. but that was all fine and well. If she saw her mother wandering the lonely forests she would've attacked, too.

Howl was growing nervous at her presence. He knew he could trust no cat, even a Clanmate. The only one he could be close to was Scab. Scavenger was his brother. He was his only friend. Howl looked at the she-cat and wondered what she wanted. He kicked the rabbit over to her with a forepaw.
"Go ahead, take it. I can catch another one." He meowed, figuring she wanted to "examine" it or something foxbrained like that. Howl got to his paws so that his full height could be seen. He was more daunting a figure standing than could be imagined. Even with his fluffy fur and soft looks, his fierce cold eyes and impendingly strong shoulders were nothing to laugh at. He was no Kittypet, though he may have looked like one. He was a rouge. There was no way around that fact.
Howl was wild and dangerous.

Oneida almost sborted when Howl tried to prove his muscles to her. she was the largest female in silenceclan, maybe just a tad shorter than Howl, but still intimidating and strong. "I can see it perfectly from here." she said taughtly, flicking her tail. Her own eyes blazed with the hottest depths even though they were cold blue.

Howl snorted.
"Yeah, well, whatever. I don't care for rabbit really so go feed it to crows or something, I don't really care." He meowed, padding up to a nearby tree. He leaped onto the trunk and clawed his way onto one of the lower boughs. He curled up in the shade of the tree and half closed his eyes, watching a few birds playing in one of the neighboring trees.

Sighing, Oneida, flicked the rabbit with her tail, glaring at Howl. But she didn't not whine or complain, just sat at the end of the tree and clawed it without mercy, pretending it was soft TrueClan flesh beneath her sharp, pointy claws.

The rather annoying sound of claws on bark below made Howl growl softly. He looked down and glared at the she-cat Oneida. Why did she had to get in his fur? He'd done nothing to her. He turned and got to his paws, crouching. He leaped from his tree into the next, slashing one of the birds as it tried to escape. He hit it with a paw, hoping that the "clumsy" kill would land on Oneida's head. He knew most cats wouldn't dare jump from tree to tree - they weren't squirrels after all - but he didn't really care. His mother taught him that he should never be afraid of anything. So he wasn't.
