Googolkit smiled at Authentic but sighed softly.
"Has Chasernight ever visited us after we were born?" Gigakit asked sadly, softly. She wished her parents hadn't entirely forgotten about her, because it might've been nice to see them once in a while. Instead she just had her family and the other Queens with their kits.

Twokit blinked. "I don't know. I'm sure he is busy, patrolling and hunting and figuring out things about SilenceClan." The kit sighed, wishing their parents would actually come and say hi once in a while.

"Right. And Otherstar is busy leading the Clan. So busy they can't just pop their head in and say 'Hi!' once in a while?" Gigakit knew she would make time for kits if she had them. rolling her eyes and shaking her head, she looked at Googolkit. He looked to happy.
"And I assume you believe that?" She asked with a sigh. He just shrugged, still examining the newborn kits from afar. Timekit watched from a corner of the den, intent on staring down Death. The two were just being themselves, and they probably didn't care. But Gigakit did.

A swift tom padded into the den. Chaernight hadn't visited his kits in a while, and he was very sorry. He had tried and tried, but he was always assigned to a patrol. He purred at the kits. "Hey guys. Sorry I haven't seen you in a while. I'm finally off patrol, today..." He licked Hundredkit's speckled head. The tomkit meowed in happiness.

"Dad!" Gigakit cried, bounding over and leaping up at her father. If only Otherstar would walk in, too. Googolkit smiled, padding over to his father. Timekit did not move, rather kept watching the other kits. Angel's kit, Death, especially. Gigakit wondered if he knew, but shrugged it off.
"Has mom missed us, too? Where has she been? Is she coming to visit soon?" Gigakit bombarded her father with questions, much to Googolkit's amusement.

Chasernight purred at his daughters questions. "Your mother loves you all very much. She is taking on stress as the new leader and she needs to jump back in the swing of things....she'll visit soon, I promise." But Chasernight wasn't so sure. Otherstar was obsessed with Devils-paw, and she had seemingly forgotten about their litter together.

Gigakit nodded, wrestling with her father. She was grateful at least he cared enough to visit every once in a while. Googolkit smiled, deciding to share newfound studies with his father.
"Genes do work in pairs of often more than two, colors being able to mix or stay solid! Incomplete dominance is shown by Angel's kits as well as genetics." The tom meowed proudly, happy with his findings. Timekit shook his head but said nothing.

Chasernight nodded. "You are very smart, Googolkit." He pretended to fall to the ground with his daughters wrestles. "Oh! I'm defeated!" He purred happily.

Gigakit meowed in triumph, happy to have 'defeated' her father. Googolkit smiled proudly.
"And Timekit knew what was wrong with Death." He meowed, smiling at his brother. Timekit didn't even seem to notice. Why was he so intent on staring at Death?

Chasernight looked at his son, Timekit. He seemed transfixed on Death. But why? He hadn't even said hi to his own father.

Googolkit rolled his eyes, looking at his father.
"Did you not know he's like that?" He asked his father, perplexed. How could his father not know his own son? Timekit was quiet and often ignorant like now, but usually not this bad.

Chasernight knew his son, but was surprised he couldn't say something to his own father. He just shook his head sadly, wondering what was wrong. He knew he wasn't the best father....
