- Name:Hortense, also known as Mist or Brigid.

- Gender:Female
- Clan:Loner, but known as a 'friendly loner' due to the the fact that she is accepted by all four Clans and is seen as a good friend.

- Appearance:Hortense has an odd complextion to herself, seemingly to be seethrough, like mist. she had deformities as a child, born with short legs and a short body, and her fur color allows cats to almost see right through her, which is how she earned her nickname, Mist. It appears Mist is as young as a new apprentice, but she is quite old, which works to her advantages. She earned her third nickname, Brigid, by the color of her eyes-A bitter, brigid orange that refelcts the orange moon on a cold winter night. Often, in the darkness, all you could see is her two beaming, cold orange eyes, which can be quite spooky and haunting. Her paws are small and nimbil, and she is often mistaken for a WindClan cat with her restless and fast pace and her inner deceptiveness and quietness. Her fur is always tidy and short, working with her unique deformity in being see-though, transparent.
- Personality:Hortense is quiet and secretive, and often seen as a spirit due to her deformity. She has befriended the five Clans-TreueClan, ThunderClan, ShadowClan, RiverClan, and WindClan-through many moons helping their problems and curing sickenesses some medicine cats can't handle alone. Hortense is also a teller, a cat who spies on another Clan and tells others what's been going on-in all fairness, she does not spy on the four main Clans as she trusts them and holdas their trust-but she does tell on Silenceclan and sometimes, rarely, TrueClan. She lives on the outskirts of ThunderClan territory, and sometimes spends days or even moons with one Clan, visiting them to tell about stories she has heard and experienced and feeding them news about the evil Clan. Hortense is very trustful and sweet, once you befriend her. she lives with two other cats, Auri and Dlai, a brother and sister who she met on her travels through many lands.
- History:Born in a human infested alley, Hortense was born without a name cause her mother thought her deformity would kill her in no time. Her brother, Twike, was very strong and murderous, but eventually his stubbornous and ill-education got him killed by a few young Two-legs. Hortense ran away as soon as she could, and ended up staying with a few scattered remnants on 'Clan cats.' She found a perfect name, Hortense, and was seen as a god with one group of rougues due to her tranparency. She was called Mist many times, and Brigid, and both names stuck. She experienced many different legends from different cats, and interesting stories, too. She met auri and Dlai one night when they were traveling loudly threough a dense thicket near the four clans. They were two runaway kittypets looking for adventure, and almost ran into Hortense as they clammered around. At first, they trhought they had encountered a haunting, but soon they saw through hortenses Misty form and became her companions, where they learned to hunt and survive. They found they Clans and made peace with them soon after and chose a permanent home outside of ThunderClans territory with a few comfy dens surrounding a pool of water fed by a small spring which attracted wildlife alike.
