Hopewhisper nodded. "I was once a ShadowClan cat" she mewed. "But I left when I was an outcast in my clan" she mewed "I then fled to SilenceClan." "That wasn't my home either" she mewed.

Boulderstar nodded slightly.
"I see. Well, I suppose it would be for the best to allow you to stay on a trial basis. But understand you do not belong here until you have proven yourselves. One wrong move and you'll either be chased off this territory or I'll have your throats cut out." He meowed matter-of-factly. Fade sighed. What, is that all?

"You will be watched at all times and will be observed in Clan ways. You may go about as you please among the territory, but as stated not alone. You will live as a Clan cat and we will see if you can cut it." He meowed with a smile.

"Hawkflight. Take them out." Boulderstar meowed with a nod. He paused.
"But first, what are your names?" He asked. Fade dipped his head.
"I am Fade, and this is Hopewhisper." He meowed.

BIC: Hawkflight led Fade and Hopewhisper into the clearing.
"That's the prey pile. You can have two pieces a day and are expected to hunt for the Clan as well. There is an extra den other this way. You two can stay there." He meowed.

Hawkflight smiled.
"Good. Listen, as long as you don't mean us harm, I guess you're welcome here." There was an odd expression in his face. Fade frowned.
"You aren't WindClan by blood, are you?" He asked casually. Hawkflight smiled bitterly.
"I guess that's obvious, huh?" He laughed. Fade coughed politely.
"Well, you are bigger than any ThunderClanner I've ever seen." He meowed.

Hopewhsiper smiled. She looked at Fade, she stood silently. She shuffled her feet nervously, her quiet nature returning.

Hawkflight nodded slightly.
"Yeah, I was born in the mountains. There're some big cats up there. Well, I'll be your watchcat for the day. What'll it be?" He asked, stretching. Fade looked at Hopewhisper.
"Perhaps a tour of the territory? I know the southern and western borders well enough but otherwise..." He mewed, shrugging.

Hawkflight nodded.
"Sure. Let me call a few Warriors and we'll head out." He meowed, turning. Fade sat down and began grooming his ruffled, short black fur.
"Well, he seems... nice enough." He observed to his mate.

Hopewhisper nodded. "He's trying" she mewed. She remembered countless cats who were turned away from shadow clan.

Fade nodded.
"I'm sure it comes from not being born in the Clan." He murmured. Hawkflight soon returned with a large she-cat and two apprentices following. He smiled at the new cats and nodded to the entrance of the camp.
"Follow us, then." He meowed.

"They are somewhat larger than most WindClanners. Probably other non-WindClan-blood..." He murmured.
