Gray she-cat sat on the snow covered tree limb, invisible to all but the elements. The one thing that could always find her,no matter what.It goes to show that you can't really hide from everything. There was always be at least one thing that can find you, wheither the elements, other felines,or mystical powers. The snow blew onto her soft thick pelt, melting at first touch. The chilled breeze rushed around her, busy on some unknown errand. Spottedtail was warm, not completely comfortable but warm. She felt pity for the cats who had short, thin pelts.
Spottedtail had never ending patientce but even she did not want to stay in solitude all night. So when Shrewpaw,a tom that Spottedtail didn't know much about, came into part of the forest she jumped down. She waited a moment, hoping that the warrior would notice her.He didn't.So Spottedtail raised her paw and brought it down on stick, creating a rather loud awkard noise in the night.
"Hello Shrewface."
Spottedtail spoke her tone soft. But it was till haunting and mournful.

A cold, icy wind stroked the brown tom's fur. He shuddered in the cold, sucking in a gulp of frozen air and drinking in the rich scent of the small, grey shrew that had taken his name. He prepared to leap when a stir behind him scared the small brown creature he resembled away. Shrewface frowned, uneasy and unsettled. He heard something, someone, but ignored it. Suddenly, he heard a she-cat speak. It was Spottedtail. "Hello." He replied quietly, plainly.

Purring ever so slightly, the gray Siberian moved forward, till she was at Shrewface's side. The wind ruffled against her fur, unusally strong. Glancing at the place where the shrew once stood, she frowned slightly and mentally cringed, now the clan wouldn't have the piece of fresh kill. She sat down, close to the tom for warmth.
"What are you doing out here today?"

"Nothing." Shrewface replied quietly, moving away from the she-cat and into a shadowed corner amid the roots of the tree she had been perched in. He sighed lightly and shook himself, fluffing up his fur for warmth.

Spottedtail frowned ever so slightly as the tom moved away, but otherwise made no sign that she noticed. Her brown eyes rose up to the skies."Shall we go back to camp or do you want to hunt?"

"Don't care." The shy tom replied simply, not really like any of it mattered, right? With a small, short sigh, he stretched out. Like it mattered what he did. Like anyone cared, right? He shook his head, trying to rid himself the thought. You're better than this. He told himself.
