Sycamoretail shook his head sadly. He just didn't trust the tom - somehow, he knew he would just break his sister's heart. She had to be careful around him. Nightsky, however, didn't care about what Sycamoretail had to say any longer. She smiled. "So, Saviorsoul, what's the news with your sister?"

Saviorsoul tried to stay chearful on the matter. It was sad to have to say goodbye again, but he knew they would meet again some day. If not in life, then in death. He was sure of that, if anything.
"She's going back to ThunderClan." He replied.

Nightsky sighed, feeling sad for her friend. And crush. She admitted it fully to herself. It made her happy. "I'm so sorry." Suddenly, she felt something bite her tail. "Hey!" She yowled, turning to face Sycamoretail. She'd been ignoring him, and he had gotten frustrated. "Oh, Sycamoretail wants to talk to you in private." She sighed, licking her tail gently.

Of course that would probably be a disaster, even with his strange ability to understand feelings, but Saviorsoul would never decline a Clanmate's wish.
"Very well." He meowed, nodding sligthly.

Nightsky nodded. "He had a... a dream, a few nights passed. He... he wanted to ask your help with... translating it? He saw long, winding moors and grasses scattered with stars. A... rat? No, a cat, sorry. A she-cat, brown with amazing green eyes, was calling him over with a flick of her tail. She led him to a dip in a hill, and then he awoke. What do you think it means?"

Saviorsoul closed his eyes and thought deeply. Winding moors. WindClan, if one was to look at it simply. A brown and white cat... he couldn't think what that meant; he didn't know the cat or if they knew her. He reopened his eyes and angled his ears forward slightly.
"It sounds as if StarClan are sending you a vision of a cat from WindClan. By her gestures I'm guessing she wants you to go to her, or 'WindClan', in retrospect." He meowed.

Nightsky nodded. "He says, with that, fairwell." Sycamoretail just stood and walked away. Nightsky wouldn't stop him, though. No, he would be okay on his own. It was what he needed. To let go of his sister. So he walked away, and she just sat there. "Guess he's gone." She meowed plainly.

Saviorsoul frowned slightly.
"Are you Ok, Nightsky?" He meowed, concerned. He couldn't tell, as usual, what she was feeling. He hoped she wasn't too down... The air around her worried him, but he couldn't be sure she was as sad as he assumed she was.

"I'm fine. Why?" She did not seem the least bit bothered or upset. As a matter of fact, she wasn't. She was glad Sycamoretail wasn't clinging to her anymore. It was a big relief. She was very happy. "The only reason I don't miss him is because I wanted him to leave."

[[Don't forget to read my previous post!]] Topazleaf looked at Saviorsoul in disbelief, but nodded her head in approval. "May Starclan guide you along the right path." She mewed. Macadamiakit twined around her mother's legs looking up at the tom curiously. Legs pounding, heart furiously thumping, he ran. Never before had he felt such terror. "Are you sure?" "Yes." The shady tom said with much grief. "No!" He raced up to the speckled grey she-cat's side, looking at her deadened eyes. "They.... they... need you... their... father..." she meowed weakly. "I never should have left you. I should've come here." "We met halfway." She smiled jokingly, and then silence crackled through the air. Nothing. A painful screech followed, one of sadness and despair. He would never let any cat away with this.Taintedkit mewed and hurried up to his mother. There he also began to twine through her legs, bumping Macadamiakit out of the way.

Saviorsoul did not understand this. What thoughts were running through Nightsky's mind? She aggrivated him sometimes. But oh well. He would figure her out eventually; he always did.
"Well, I'm glad you are happy. I think..." He said, grinning crookedly even though neither of them had sight to see it.

Nightsky sighed. "I must be crazy." She thought out loud. She could see when she got a thrill such as fighting or hunting, she was happy to lose family, and she was madly in love with a blind cat. How was that even logical, any of it? Or possible, it seemed.

"Nah, you're not mouse-brained. Just not attached to many cats, I guess." He meowed, shrugging. It was so strange to be around another blind cat sometimes. He often forgot she couldn't see him.
"Hey, Saviorsoul!" The tortoiseshell tom turned to where he could hear Ravennight, who by his mingling scent was standing beside Ashfire.
"Ashfire's leavin'." He explained. Saviorsoul nodded. He turned his blind gaze back to Nightsky.
"I have to go say goodbye. Would you like to come?" He asked in a friendly manner.
OOC: Haha! He's so oblivious XD

"I guess." Nightsky meowed with a sigh. "See ya, Ashfire! Have a safe journey!" She called, turning to face Saviorsoul blindly. Then she realized her folly. "Err, I guess I better go say goodbye then." She said unhappily - goodbyes were always hard. She still regretted leaving Rootpaw, but at least she had found Saviorsoul, right? Right?

Saviorsoul blinked. She sounded guilty - he couldn't imagine why. He turned and felt his sister's muzzle brush his. Her sweet, calming scent wreathed itself around him for perhaps the last time. We'll be together in StarClan, though, won't we? He thought, sighing in relief.
"Dearest brother... your eyes are so keen and yet you miss so much." She sighed. "Goodbye, Saviorsoul. I'm so proud of you." She meowed. He was confused but hadn't the will to say anything. He just sat there and listened to her pawsteps as she padded away, saying goodbye as she went.

Nightsky nodded farewell to Ashfire and then sat next to Saviorsoul. "I know what it's like to leave someone you love. I haven't seen Rootpaw since." She sighed s she felt the burning pain of loneliness envelop her. "He was such a good cat. So loving and fair and just." She had no idea what he had recently been through, but she wished to see him again. Well, not technically see him, but be by his side. Even for a moment.

Saviorsoul smiled.
"It's hard to see a negative side to those we care about. But I believe that's just the beauty of kinship... and friendship, of course." He meowed, turning to face Nightsky. He could read her more clearly that way.

"He was the oldest. He was Medicine Cat Apprentice. We, Sycamoretail and I, went after Canyonpaw. We cared about him. He tried to kill us. He almost killed me." She stifled a wail of sadness. It hurt to think that her brother, her own blood relative, would want to kill her and Sycamoretail. Is Rootpaw okay?

Saviorsoul looked at her with a concerned expression. Finally he turned away.
"Sometimes..." He sighed, "Sometimes we can be hurt by those close to us. But I think StarClan would want you to forgive Canyonpaw for all his wrongdoings. Perhaps he's trying to live the better life, wherever he is." Saviorsoul meowed.
"Although I know that's not what you want to hear. Actually, I have no clue what you want to hear." Saviorsoul grumbled.

"You're right. That's not what I wanted to hear." Nightpaw growled. "Looks like the only other cat to agree with me is Sycamoretail, and he's gone." Nightpaw stood and stretched. "I'm going to go take a nap." She padded away in frustration.
