Mountainfur turned around to see his mate. Smiling, he listened intently.
"I should never have given you a reason to suspect my love for anyone else. Without you, I would be a lifeless bundle of fur in this cold, cruel world. You are my soul, Hollyleaf, and that will never change." Mountainfur nuzzled his mate softly and sighed. He had forgotten all about Streakwater, his kits, or anything. All he knew was Hollyleaf, and that was enough for him.

Hollyleaf smiled big nuzzling Mountainfur back. He really meant the world to her and nothing would ever change that.

"I want to become a Medicine Cat..." Featherkit sighed sitting next to Boulderkit.

"And I want wings." Boulderkit said jokingly, leaning over and bumping Featherkit playfully. "Naw, I think that's a great position. You can heal others, and help your Clan in many ways. You'd be good at it." He nuzzled her gently, purring.
Mountainfur nodded, scenting the wind. Rabbit. He smiled, offering the chase to his mate.

Mountainfur nodded, shooting forward. He followed the rabbit, happy for once, and had caught up to it almost instantly. He buried it to retrieve later, smiling at his mate.

Featherkit chuckled nervously smiling up at Boulderkit. "Thank you, Boulderkit..You um seem to be the only one to say so." She meowed looking around the nursery stopping when she got to Taintedkit. "So are you excited about becoming an apprentice? Like who your mentor might be and stuff?"
"I couldn't live without you either." Hollyleaf smiled.

Mountainfur laughed. "We'll never get to catching anything this way." He purred, nuzzling her head gently.
"I hope my dad is my mentor!" Boulderkit replied excitedly. It wasn't actually his father, but who was going to say? Why ruin his day? "And getting out of the Nursery is also cool. And my new name would be even better. Boulderpaw!" The young tom cried triumphantly.

Featherkit nodded. "I know! I'll be Featherpaw." She purred, she looked over at Sycamoretail and sighed. "Its great, you want your...father to be your mentor but I'm not sure if they are allowed."

"But he will be. I'm certain." Boulderkit blinked in understanding. He pounced at Featherkit, tackling her to the ground and playfully batting at her ear.
