Pacingwaters crept slowly and quietly down the long slope from ThunderClan territory to ShadowClan territory. She hadn't seen her love, Stonesearch, in a very long while. She wanted his comfort, his soft nuzzlings and his unique voice.
She waited patiently, although he probably wouldn't come. Her eyes darted around nervously before she started to relax. This is where she belonged. Maybe she should just join ShadowClan....

The tom's dark grey tabby fur rippled as he leaped down from a fallen tree trunk. His fierce amber eyes, almost red in shade, cast a uncharacteristic worried glance at the border. They suddenly lit up as if a thousand fires had started in the tom's soul. There, standing with her eyes locked on his Clan's territory, was Pacingwaters. Stonesearch's heart hammered in his chest, making it ache. His paws, though, felt light as air. He glanced in each direction, making sure the Thunderpath was clear. When he was sure it was, the tom bolted forward. His paws slipped on the strange, hard surface, but he hardly felt the sting. His thoughts were all for his love, standing there waiting for him. It was hard having a mate in another Clan, and definately against the Warrior code. Not like Stonesearch knew much about it. He had grown up in SilenceClan and had been taught by his father, Dagger, to kill and hunt for himself. Everything had always been about perserving his own life. It was hard to put others first now, in ShadowClan. Stonesearch cared for his friends, but his instincts had always been to take care of himself and no other cat. But as he stared into Pacingwaters's eyes, he knew that he would risk his life to keep her safe.
"Pacingwaters." His voice was soft, tasting the name on his tongue with obvious delight as he drew up alongside her, his nose tracing the groove beneath her neck and muzzle. He felt a purr rise up in his throat, filling his chest. He hadn't seen her in so long. He knew that this was wrong according to the code and StarClan, but when he felt like this, how could be wrong?

"Stonesearch," she purred with obvious delight. She pricked her ears for any noise, but the forest was quiet accept for the chirps and rustling of wings from the birds. She closed her eyes, feeling warmth shoot through her body, making her feel hot. She shivered none the less, and her eyes lighted up.
Her fur rippled as she spoke. "I missed you so much. I love you." and she meant that, in every way possible.

He knew the feelings they shared well enough, but to have her whisper those warm words into his ears made his fur shiver with pleasure and his whiskers twitch in joy. He closed his eyes and drank in her sweet scent, resting his muzzle against her shoulder.
"I missed you, too." His voice shook slightly with the depth of his emotions. His eyes looked into hers, and he felt a lump rise up in his throat as he thought of parting with her again. Could he bear to see her turn away from him and walk away? He remembered when he had hurt one of her Clanmates in a beserk rage... what if they found out? They wouldn't forgive her. Would they kill her? No. It was his fault, the whole mess. Still... Stonesearch was too overcome with anxiety to think straight. He just savored her scent, the feel of her fur brushing his. He entwined their tails and paused to just listen to her soft breathing. Everything about her was worth comitting to memory.

Pacingwaters eyes were suddenly troubled. "Stonesearch... I can't keep going like this. I can't keep lying to my Clan. 'Oh, I was out hunting... for those past hours.' I just cam't do that anymore."
She looked down. "Take me to Arcticstar," she said quietly. "I wanna join ShadowClan."

Stonesearch listened with intense despair. The way she looked down, the way she seemed nervous. Was... she going to tell him not to see her anymore? He didn't think his heart could bear it. If she told him to leave, and he couldn't persuade her otherwise... he didn't know what he would do. His thoughts drifted momentarily back to SilenceClan... would he go there? He wouldn't stay with the Clans, he knew that. He couldn't walk among them and remember her... but then she continued. He stiffened, and a cold shock ran up his spine. Take her to...? He shook his head, trying to clear it. He couldn't believe she would want to leave her Clan. But then he remembered how he had felt when he had been trapped in ShadowClan without any way to go home. And then he had realized that ShadowClan was home. Stonesearch's paws tingled. Was that what it was like for Pacingwaters now? Was he her home?
"I-If you're sure." He meowed unsurely. What if she was hurt? No. If any of his Clanmates attacked her... Stonesearch gritted his teeth and dug his almost-crimson claws into the turf. He wouldn't allow it! Memories flashed into his mind of Pacingwaters's Clanmate, lying dead at his paws... He would kill his own Clanmates if they dared to try to hurt his mate. Stonesearch didn't need ShadowClan to belong. All he needed was Pacingwaters. He had never been the most loyal cat, but he knew one thing he would give it all up for. Her.

"This is what I want, Stonesearch," I said, nuzzling into him. I looked at his face, twisted in an emotion I couldn't decipher. "We'll get through this, together," I said soothingly, although my words sounded hollow in my own voice. I just couldn't stay with ThunderClan anymore, with their puzzled looks and skeptical thoughts. I nodded to him, and i looked out into ShadowClan territory. Lead the way," I said, my eyes on the dark pines and the shaded Thunderpath. (We'll make a post. I'll start it. It'll be called "Meeting Arcticstar

OOC: Mkay.
BIC: Stonesearch nodded slightly. He turned and made sure the way was clear of monsters before telling his mate to run across. On the other side, he padded down the bank onto the boggy earth. Mud oozed between his paws, but he didn't mind. It was felt nice. He twitched his tailtip as he walked through the territory, towards the camp. He hoped he wouldn't meet a patrol. He didn't want to stir up any trouble too soon.
"This way," he meowed in relief as they reached the camp undetected.
