Sighingwind looked up into the sky and smiled.

"Thank you, StarClan, whoever you all are... thank you for blessing me, even though I never knew you." He meowed softly. He looked down at his kits, and was startled when he saw Raven's little head angled towards him. The kit's droopy ears were angled foreward clumsily, and his nose twitched a few times. It was almost as if he were listening.

"He seems to be interested." Sighingwind mused. Raven sniffed softly and turned to nurse again. Sighingwind's eyes softened and he smiled.

Cookie blinked open her forest green eyes. She shifted her gaze to Sighwind. "I love you" she mewed.

Sparrow squirmed at her belly. He turned his head in his fathers direction.

Sighingwind purred.

"I love you, too, Cookie." He meowed gently, nuzzling her gently.

Cookie purred in return. Cookie's stomach growled. "Sighingwind" she mewed. "Can you catch me something to eat?" she asked.
