One step at a time (open)

Thorn smelled the warm green-leaf air then remembered Kimberly, the summer air reminded him of her, gentle with it's own sweet scent. "I miss her." He sighed but then gave a slight smile remembering when he first told her he loved her. He wondered if she wanted to be with him, or if she even loved him. His heart hurt at that thought but he swept it away, and forced a smile on his face. I have to take life one paw step at a time.. I want the world to know me, but only the clans know my name. He thought and thought of when he was a kitty-pet every time he tried to get out of the door, the first couple times, it slammed in his face, so now he is living by the one step at a time method.
