Six thousand years ago, ReminisedClan moved into the forest. They worshipped their spirit ancestors and took no more than they needed. Humans still hunt with the bow and arrow, still live in Clans. Before long, the blissful peace was shattered when the new leader, Fleeting Cloud, took over. He ordered his hunters to build up a store of the food – Something that broke the pact several times over. And so the ancient pact between the spirits and the living was ignored time and time again. A few hunters got angry and slowly built up support within the Clan. As soon as one of them was fully-trained as a Mage, they left ReminisedClan and formed a new one, which they named GoldenClan.
Their leader, Avalon, swore that they would follow the pact and rise above their traitor brothers. Several bloody battles followed, and eventually the spirit ancestors turned away from their children. Today, nearly five hundred summers later, the old tension is rising again. But this time there is a small difference – GoldenClan are the pact breakers. And with every passing moon, the memory of the pact gets more and more faded. In these turbulent times, the fate of the forest lies in your hands…Will you choose to scorn the pact as a story or protect it with your life?
