Hello everyone,
This is Dapps, formally Spottedleaf. I know a lot of you don't know who I am at all. Well I am the true owner of SP. made SP 4 years ago and a lot of the staff members have known me for longer. Now some of you might not believe me but you would be wise to listen anyway.
Over a year ago, I had to leave. My family got evicted and we didn't have a computer. It took us all of that summer to get situated and just to find a house. Though because of that I gave SP advice, warning, and new leadership before I left. The warning was just that I couldn't return until I had my own computer and I had no clue how long that was going to take. I still don't.
The advice and leadership came hand in hand. The problem was that I literally had a weeks, a months worth of things to do like changing Head admins in a matter of a half hour. I'll admit that maybe I wasn't clear in my intructions.
The person that would have been SP's new Head admin was someone I've known since almost the same time I started RPing. I've always called her Night but a lot of you might know her as Spirit. However she told me in advance that if I left, she would leave as well. There went my first choice.
My second choice is someone you should all know. Snow. However Snow had either left before I left or left at the same time I did. Either way, I didn't know when she was going to be back or if she would go back to SP. The fact was, was that I needed a Head admin right then and I couldn't wait however long for Snow. (I am sorry Snow. You know I love you.)
Now here comes the part that you all should know. The person I made Head admin is Lion.
I chose Lion to be my new Head admin. I gave her all of the powers and I think I warned her that I did. That would have let her do anything she wanted. I trusted her and now, she has turned down the position on Head admin.
A lot of you might be wondering then how Bramble got to be the sites 'unofficial' Head admin, correct? Well, I knew I needed a Co-admin, a second in command. Since my top people were not there or had a position already...I was willing to choose anyone. At the time I thought I was very lucky to have Bramble volunteer to be Co-admin. I had my doubts because at the time, Bramble hadn't been with SP as long as Tilly (Kelsey) had been. The only reason I didn't choose Tilly was because of a previous experience that she herself and some members were still trying to get out of. Plus Tilly hadn't had that much experience that I knew of for running a site. Plus I knew that Lion would need help running a site like SP. Back then, SP had a lot more active members.
So that is how Lion got to be Head and Bramble a Co-admin. However, as you all have realized, Bramble is more then a Co-admin now. Bramble was supposed to run everything by Lion and Lion has had no clue about any of the things Bramble has done. Bramble has also tacken my account away from me. She did ask if she could access it, but she never told me that she changed it so much that I wouldn't be able to log in as Spottedleaf when I got back.
I have heard a lot of complaints about different things. Bramble has done a good job no matter what she did to get there. I am not trying to make it seem like you all have to listen to me. I know very well that I am a regular member that half of you don't even know, let alone know who I was before I left. I know that it is your choice to believe me or not. So, you decide and that will be fine with me.
