Aminta padded softly through the forest. A glinting pond sparkled only a few fox lengths away from her. She quickened her pace and bent down at the shore to drink from the clear water. After the firsts gulps, she scented the crisp air around her. "Darn it!" she hissed angrily. "Clan territory. How could I have wondered onto this?!"
Aminta stood up from where she was sitting, only a few seconds ago, and tried to retrace her steps. After walking around in circles for about 10 minuets, she was thirsty again. The she-cat bent over the pool once more, and started to drink the sparkling water. She laid down next to the shore, and fell quickly asleep, not caring anymore if she was in any possible danger. Aminta placed her slightly fluffy tail over her nose, and dreamed of her family she would never see again.

The strange tom padded along with his tail between his legs, his body lowered to the ground and his ears pressed against his skull. His whiskers twitched and he started at every noise - even those he made himself. His pale hazel eyes glittered with uncertainty, fear. He had once been a proud, strong Clan cat, but he had been reduced to a fidgety rouge left with nothing but pain and loss. His golden-brown fur was untidy and tangled, and the spots and stripes overlaped where burrs clung to his pelt. He looked over his shoulder but let out a startled squeak when he tripped over something - a she-cat lying beside a pond. The tom started to his paws, trembling with fear. But he smelled no Clan scent. He allowed himself to relax slightly, his hazel eyes wide.
"I'm s-s-s-sorry, I didn't s-see you." He stuttered.

Aminta shot up in alarm. "What the he... oh." she stared at the filthy tom. "What are you doing here?" she demanded in a sharp, harsh tone. This cat had no clan scent, and she was glad. "And why did you run into me?!" she hissed loudly. Aminta's fur stood on end. She dug her claws into the soft ground as she stared at the tom with her piercing green eyes.

The tom shifted his gaze as he kneeded the ground with his paws nervously. He didn't like being on Clan ground, but the she-cat he traveled with had insisted he come. He eyed the loner and wondered if she really was a TrueClanner who had just not picked up the scent yet. But that couldn't be; she had no trace of any protectiveness about her. She was just irritated at him. He looked over his shoulder once more and then back at her, flicking his ear nervously.
"I just s-said, I didn't s-see you. And what I'm doing here is none of your b-business!" He snarled, with a bit of his old ThunderClan flame in his eyes. But it died almost instantly. He'd always been a coward. Living out in the wild, on his own, though... it was a far scarier thing.

Aminta rolled her eyes. "Don't get an attitude. I don't like attitudes, especially if they're used toward me." she snarled. This cat was easy to scare, and she enjoyed that.

Near came a elderly cat as he walked, a proud swing of his tail to announce to his lowly house mate that he was to stop. His weekly route became monthly as his old bones ached but reluntant to tell the young cat that would break the pride of the eldering cat. The tom that sat behind eye darted around in panic as new sounds came to his ears. "Voodoo is it safe here" whimpered the brown tabby tom who followed the cat.
The Black cat turned with a great speed, "Safe? Misery do you know what safe is" growled Voodoo, "Safe is just another word for nothing! To be safe there has to be danger."
Both the two cats traveled on until they heard the hush noise of cat talking a little ways off. Voodoo with a since of being the best tracked it till he found two cats. Misery trailed behind joining his house mate behind a large bush.

The tom's lips curled back. He could feel a little bit of the old fire - a little bit - coming back. He had Clan blood! He wasn't going to get pushed around by a mere loner! She had no one on her side, no cat to fight for her! He had nothing to fear.
"Oh? Well, maybe if you weren't such a rude fox cats wouldn't get attitudes around you. Ever think of that?" He growled, bristling. He may have been defeated by his own self misery, but there was still the blood that ran through his veins - the pride that would never quite die. He was definately not the bravest, but he could stand up for himself if the odds were in his favor - which they were at the moment.

Aminta bristled. 'Why am I acting like this?' she thought. The she-cat sat down. "Sorry, I usually don't act like that." she meowed shyly. Aminta looked down at her slightly black paws.

The tom relaxed, letting his golden hackles flatten. He sheathed his dark claws and sat down stiffly.
"It's fine. I'm used to cold looks by now. Doesn't bother me so much." He meowed. Memories flashed through his mind... Blood... her blood... drenched in it... must escape... they'll think... dead... killed... He shook his head, trying to get rid of his scrambled thoughts and painful remembrances.

Aminta looked off into the distance. A strange scent drifted past her nose. "We have guests." she meowed with fear in her voice.

The golden, stripe-spotted tom turned slightly and pricked his ear, his fur standing on end. He wondered who could be wandering around at this time, in TrueClan territory, but he snorted as soon as he fully drank in the scent.
"Not Clan cats. As long as they don't know me I don't have anything to be afraid of." He meowed, yawning. He didn't care who they were, what they wanted. He'd just run if he had to. He'd been doing plenty of that lately. Being a coward was much more appealing than it used to be.

Voodoo studied both cats carefully, his eyes flickering back and forth reading the signs of weakness but right now wasn't best to attack. "You see that tom right there" voodoo meowed to misery, "he seem to have a weak passed, cats only shake their heads like that either to get a bug off or getting out a memory." He kept watching for more clues from the hintful cats
The voice of the cat saying about vistors brought Voodoo to full battle ready. His long sharp claws stain red from blow slid out in ease. Voodoo marched out proudly as he faced his challenge. Misery stayed back in fear, eyes closed in hope not to be found.
"Hello" said Voodoo raspy voice.

Aminta relaxed a bit. "If you say so..." she meowed. Her head turned to where the scent was coming from. "Hello?" the she-cat meowed.

The tom bristled a little at the obvious-challenge of the tom, but he ignored his Clan battle instincts, surpressing his desire and merely penetrating the tom's stare with his own fierce hazel one. If any cat dared to challenge him, he'd give them a taste of death they wouldn't soon forget. Flashes of a dark tabby cat pouncing at him, huge claws poised to strike ran through his mind, but he surpressed the dark thoughts.
"Hello yourself. What do you want?" He asked, eyes narrowed. The tom was obviously hostile. He would deal with him if he tried to hurt the she-cat, that was for sure. ThunderClan valor had not completely died out inside of him.

Voodoo slid his claws in not ready for a fight yet but a gesture of words which better leaves his mark. "I want nothing. Me and my young follower heard of argueing here and we wanted to see what it was about." voodoo gave a girn showing off blood stained teeth then sitting as for his aching bones came at the wrong time.

"That cat is creepy." Aminta whispered to herself. She drank a little bit more of water from the pond, then sat down with her tail rapped around her paws.

The golden tom eyed the newcomer with narrowed hazel eyes. He shrugged his shoulders, the muscles rippling with a gold sheen as he did so, showing off his unchanged strength just a little, and he curled his lip slightly to show he was no amused.
"Well, there's no more arguing here. You and your hiding friend can leave or go about your business. I don't care as long as you leave well enough alone." He meowed sternly.

Voodoo gave a sharp look at the cat and gave a laugh. "You scared of a elderly cat" he said giving a paw a quick groom. "Misery come on now" growled Voodoo a flash of unconcern for the two cats who were in the clearing. Misery slid out slowly, his tail between his legs, his left ear twich slight showing off a badly torn rip, he gave a shy smile to the she-cat showing off a missing fang. "What do you want Voodoo" he asked scared. His eyes flashed around with a timid look. Scars lines his face and sides.

Aminta gazed at Misery. 'Poor tom.' she thought. 'All thoses scars and a missing tooth.' The she-cat smiled back in a firendly manner. "Hi." she meowed. "I'm Amentia."

The tom rolled his eyes. Hardly. He wasn't scared of those two mangy rouges. He had been a Clan cat once. There were few things a Clan cat feared. And now I fear Clan cats... imagine that. he thought dryly. He heard the snapping of a twig nearby and turned to watch a beautiful black and white she-cat emerge from one of the bushes. Her silken fur blew softly in the wind, and her gentle blue eyes looked on at the other cats with a sort of gentle knowing.
"What has been taking you so long, friend?" She asked the tom gently.
"I'm sorry. I tripped over this she-cat and got a little..." he eyed the toms, "Preoccupied." The she-cat looked them over and then smiled gently.
"I see that. Hello there, strangers. Halnasis." She meowed, dipping her head. The tom eyed her but said nothing. He had never asked about her odd phrases, and figured that was probably wise.
