The fluffy white pelt was easily spotted among the green foliage of ShadowClan. The She-cat had never been good at hiding, except in Leaf-Bare, where her pelt would match the fresh snow. Green-Leaf is surely coming quickly, She thought, sitting in the fronds by the Thunderpath. She often came here to think, to get away from her bustling Clan. Today she had come to think about SilenceClan. If TrueClan doesn't attack within three moons....I will. Arcticstar was sick of waiting for the big battle, and wished it was just over with so they could go on with their normal lives. Things had been horrible since SilenceClan arrived, when she was a newborn kit. Why, she herself had been abducted by a sneaky SilenceClan patrol. Luckily, her faithful Clan got her back. But that was when she had lived in WindClan.
She knew she had found the right place with ShadowClan. The cats here were raised pure and strong, with loyal and proud hearts and sharp clever minds. You could not doubt ShadowClan was smarter than RiverClan, stronger than ThunderClan and stealthier than WindClan. She had been born in the wrong Clan at first, but she had found her permanent home here.
Lost in thoughts about her old and new home, she almost didn't here paws creeping up on her, and the wiggling fronds behind her. She turned around quickly, alarmed as a Monster rolled by. "Who's there?"

The two warriors padded quickly along, their tails and heads low, their eyes shifty. The leader was a grey tom with medium-long fur. Most of his pelt was the same color - a dark grey that was probably lighter than most and darker than others. But along his nape the fur was ginger, and along his spine was another streak. Those were the only markings on his body. His eyes were a clear crystal green, and he wore a dark expression that was debateably anxious. Beside him, his sister padded along with her hackles raised. She was small - much smaller than he was - and her fur was black and white, her eyes hazel. She had no abnormal markings, but her manner was stranger than her brother's.
"Are you sure he said... t-there, Greyveil?" She stammered. Her brother turned slightly and stopped, scenting the air.
"Hush, Tinywhisper." He snapped. His sister shrunk back, pressing her belly fur against the earth and pinning her ears against her skull. Greyveil pricked his ears and then hissed softly. He turned to his sister.
"There's some cat up ahead, but we're upwind. I can't tell who it is." He murmured. Tinywhisper looked up at him with wide eyes.
"O-Ok... so what do we do, go around?" She asked.
"No. They've already scented us. We don't want to draw attention to ourselves. Remember what Shadestrike said." He murmured before leading her forward. Tinywhisper slunk after him, her body close to their ground and her eyes wide. Greyveil emerged to see their leader nearby. Bloody death, did it have to be her? He groaned inwardly. Tinywhisper stared at her, gaping. Greyveil remained cool, though, smiling and dipping his head.
"Greetings, Articstar. I hope we haven't intruded." He meowed. By her expression she had obviously noticed their approach. Greyveil could faintly pick up his brother's scent. I wonder if he's somewhere nearby.

"Of course not." She replied stiffly, eyes flashing from both siblings. She turned her head to the Thunderpath, warily watching a monster speed by. "I was just thinking. I needed to get away from the clan."

Greyveil's only show of surprise with a single, prolonged blink. But Tinywhisper gave a soft gasp and her eyes widened.
"What do you mean, Articstar?" She asked. Greyveil, as concerned as he was with the Clan and their leader, knew that chances were, their brother was watching. He didn't want Shadestrike to see him as concerned about ShadowClan as he wanted to be, so he just stood and stared at Articstar, seemingly thoughtful.

"Oh, you know." She said, grinning. "Nothing bad. Bustling kits. Productive warriors. It's nice to have a little quiet time." That reminded her. She had to get back to her adopted kits. she had left them with Pacingwaters.

Greyveil nodded.
"That makes sense, of course." He meowed. Tinywhisper said nothing. She just stared, her hazel eyes wide and her ears pricked forward. Greyveil's green eyes flashed as he turned and nodded.
