Ravennight studied his sister for a moment, dumbfounded. She has kits... He eyed Firestar. And a leader's kits at that, if my suspicions are correct. Hmm. He frowned.
"I'm searching for someone. I heard she might be here. Nightsky? Of TrueClan?" He asked hopefully. Ashfire looked at him with wide eyes. He was after Nightsky? But why? Hadn't he and Saviorsoul...? She was just too confused.

"Oh, yeah. She's probably out hunting. The only thing you can catch her doing lately." Firestar offered with a friendly smile, turning back to his kits. He didn't care that maybe Ravennight had something to do with Nightsky. All he cared about were the kits.

Ravennight said nothing. He just stared down at his sister and her kits. He was proud of her, but an empty feeling crept into his heart when he saw Firestar looking proudly down at the four little fluffballs. He's so... so happy. Ravennight thought. Perhaps I should give up on Nightsky... she's probably happy too. But I can't. He thought.
"So what are their names?" He asked curiously.
"Tigerkit, Silverkit, Rainkit, and Sparrowkit." Ashfire replied happily.

Firestar smiled as he caught scent of someone.
"I think Nightsky just got back." He said, signaling out of the den to the sleek black fur of the blind she-cat.

Ravennight blinked and then nodded.
"Ok." He meowed, turning around and padding out of the den. He looked around for that familiar black pelt, wondering what he would do if he found her. Will she even listen to me? She loves Saviorsoul, not me. She doesn't care a speck about what I say. Ravennight thought bitterly. He raced up to her nonetheless, hopeful that maybe she would hear him out.
"Hey, Nightsky," He said, trying to keep his voice from sounding defeated before the fight had even begun.

"Ravennight?" Nightsky gasped, astonished. She could hardly believe that he had come all this way. Was it news from Saviorsoul? Was he apologizing? Could he not come on account of... Well, she had made it. Her hopes deflated slightly but she decided not to give up yet. There could still be a chance.
"Yes?" She asked with a smile, not even turning to face him. Like she needed to. She couldn't see him anyway.

Ravennight didn't know what to do. What should he say? 'Hi, I've come all this way to tell you I love you and I want you to come back with me?' Fat chance.
"I just wanted to tell you that we all miss you. Me, Ebonywood... especially Saviorsoul. He gets really mopey without you there," Ravennight said, though he didn't like the prospect much, "I came to ask you to come back. Please." He said, his dark amber eyes pleading even if she couldn't see it.

Nightsky smiled, but then realized that he hadn't fully said what she wanted.
"He feels guilty or he actually misses me?" She asked. Then she remembered Farasi. "Well, I'm staying here." She said with a sigh, looking around at the camp even if she couldn't see it.
"My home." She said with a smile.

Ravennight felt as if his heart was plummeting into his paws. She won't come back... He thought sadly. He wanted her to be with him more than anything. Maybe... He turned away and sighed.
"Ok... if that's... if that's what you want." He said, padding towards the nursery. He stuck his head in and looked at his sister and her mate, the Clan leader Firestar. Let's hope this works.
"Uh, Firestar... do you mind if I ask you a favor?" He asked hopefully.

BIC: Ravennight swallowed and then said what he wanted to say so quickly he wondered if Firestar even understood a word he said;
"Can I join ThunderClan please? I'll work really hard and be a great Warrior and I'll never ever complain and I'll even do apprentice duties if you want!" He rambled. Ashfire stared at him blankly for a few seconds. Then her eyes lit up with joy. He smiled at her. She seemed happy that he wanted to stay.

BIC: Ashfire smiled widely. She felt overjoyed that her brother was returning to them. She had no idea why, but that didn't matter. She purred loudly.
"I'm so glad you've decided to stay, Ravennight!" She exclaimed. He smiled back and nodded.
"I'm glad I'm allowed to stay. Thank you, Firestar." He meowed, dipping his head/

"Any time. We'll be glad to have you." Firestar said with a nod and a smile. His mate was happy, his Clan was growing, and the sun beamed down as if the world had finally found a perfect balance of its own. He felt he could sing with joy, and was half tempted to go running away now and express his laughter in any silly way possible. But he knew for now he' stay grounded happily in the Nursery.

BIC: Ashfire smiled up at Ravennight, who sat and stared at her closely for a few moments. She laughed softly at his look.
"What?" She asked teasingly. He looked at Firestar and then back at her, then smiled mischeviously.
"Oh, nothing..." He murmured, grinning before he ducked out of the nursery. Ashfire flattened her ears and glared after him.
"That mousebrain..." She muttered, then smiled up at her mate and laughed.

Firestar purred. He was glad to see his mate happy, and glad to know that things seemed to be working out. He frowned, biting his lip as he thought.
"Whatever happened to your friends Hollyleaf and Ebonywood?" He asked, curious but not entirely questioning.

Ashfire smiled a thim.
"Ebonywood stayed in TrueClan, and I think Hollyleaf left for WindClan." She meowed. She missed her friends, but it was her brothers that had really been the most important, as shallow as the thought seemed. Ashfire knew she would always love her friends, but what could she do...? Nothing. It was their choices, so she decided not to be too sad about it.
