"You don't have to" she meowed and the white fur of littlekit flew out from the bushes. "Mommy!" she said her eyes opened largely toward the she-cat. She race toward Dreamwhisker in short leaps.

Darkshard didn;t look back in. He simply mewed "I know I don't have to, but I want to."

"I don't know what to do", she admitted flatly, " I love you Pebblefur but he doesn't believe me. These kits are just going to make him even untrusted of me." she meowed soarly

[[Um. Why does Littlekit think Dreamwhisker is her mom...?]]

[[Dreamwhisker was in the nusery and littlekit followed the smell thinking it was her mother, she was still hadn't open her eyes yet]]

"Don't you worry" he mewed. "I won't let him do anything to you or the kits" he mewed. "Even if it means guarding the nursery every night" he said.

"but hes not out to kill me...I want him to trust me. Love me like he did." Dreeamwhisker said sadly asshe streached her neck for some moss. She laid ir first by the kits then under her head. "Better"

"Something like this shouldn't shatter your love" he mewed. "No matter what I'll always love you" he mewed.

Dreamwhisker was distractied trying to calm down Littlekit as she squirmed next to the queens body. "calm down littlekit" she whispered "We will get you back to your mommy as soon as possible". The tiny kit stop squirming, letting out a loud yawn she fell asleep. Dreamwhisker stared softly then at her own kits. "They are a nice bunch other then those two tiny ones" she said to Darkshard

Darkshard nodded. "They're beautiful" he mewed.

Dreamwhisker gave a soft smilied. She laid her head onto her paws given herself a large yawn. "How have you been" she asked mumbling.

"This is what I mean." Pebblefur had been slowly tracking the two and had heard Darkshard. "Love prevails." He said with a soft sigh, shaking his head. Was it really meant to be?

Dreamwhisker sniffed the breeze that carried the scent she so closely deared. "Pebblefur?" she asked with a spark of excitement but the scent past with no chance of staying. Her heart sped up then slowed down in a race to her love.

"I'm fine you?" he asked. He silenced as Pebblefur's scent drifted by.

"Bit..ehh what the word for it...depressed". she stared at her paws with a dull look in her eyes. "Do you think me and Pebblefur is right? I love him so much but it feel like he hates me or doesn't trust me." she sighed heavily flicking her head toward Darkshard.

Darkshard stared into Dreamwhisker's eyes. She could see the love and the pain. "A relationship, shouldn't hurt this much" he mewed. "If he wanted this relationship to work, he would understand, but to me he comes off as a stuck up jerk" he continued "who doesn't know how valuable you are." "He doesn;t respect you" he added.

"Thanks Darkshard" dreamwhisker meowed. "Do you think about time I bring my kits back to camp?"

Darkshard nodded. "We have to be extremely careful though" he mewed. "They're very delicate." He picked up 3 kits by the scruff. He slowly padded beside Dreamwhisker back to camp.

"I know..." she meowed wondering how good her mothering skills were. She picked up the last two and nudged littlekit in the side. Her head rose to see the white she-cat leaving. "Come on Littlekit, time to leave and see mommy" she mumbled. She stared her path back to the camp with littlekit stumbling under her paws.

Darkshard reached camp and headed straight for the nursery. He ignored the curious eyes of his clanmates. He placed the kits in Dreamwhisker's nest. "Would you like some fresh kill?" he asked.
