"I loved her. I still do." Stonepelt said softly, his eyes staring at the hills inw which his daughter disappeared. Next to him was his other daughter, Heather, also staring at the hills, though resent and distaste burned in her eyes.
"She is nothing, Stonepelt. Forget about her. Now, I was thinking, about your killing Talonstar idea... their is a clan that really has it out for his clan. We could join forces..." But her father was still fixated on the dimming hills. A shriek rose into Heather's voice. "Forget her! She is pathetic!" She hissed, swiping a paw over Stonepelt's muzzle gently. His attention snapped down to his small daughter, rage burning in the depth of his eyes.
"She's is better than you!" He shreed, rising a paw spotted with sharp claws to Heather throat. His daughter was on the ground in a flash, choking, her life spilling away easily. He shook his head, shamed, and ran over the hills, opposite of Forever's direction.
A few yards off, a talented she-cat could hear the spasms of a distressed she-cat. She ran quickly over, eyes full of concern, and knew she had to help. She ran around, finding any herb that could help, and dragged the kit, maybe 6 moons old, into a dry den where she watched over her for a the duration of her wound. When the little cat was better, she ran away immediately in a storm, a cat on a mission.
Rubypaw only got the kits name, Heather. Rubypaw had said her own name before the younger female ran off. She sighed as she watched Heather go and continued on her journey from RiverClan to TrueClan, where eventually she would forbiddingly fall in love and become Rubyshine, TrueClan's talented and dazzlingly beautiful medicine cat.
That was Forever ago.
Was Foreverpaw named after her past? But then again, back when she was named, no one knew her furure. Perhaps she should be Future paw, with crevices and cliffs around every corner, and spotlights on her future. She felt like she lost her only friend, Longpaw, for some odd reason. she had liked him from the beginning, but she knew he had some hidden feelings for Devils-tail, the leaders daughter. She hadn't talked to him in a while. She felt shallow.
She had no one.
Alone.
She sighed and lay down, resting her head on her paws, feeling a chill in the air. Her sights around her was the shining amnesty stone, where cats held vigil. Surrounding her was a busy forest, though it's residents were silent and clever. The night around her seemed to still time, until a racket of birds fluttered a trees still leaves. THe birds flew away quickly, disappearing with the sun, over the mountains.
What was over those mountains? New Life? More clans? If only she knew. she came from the yonder, over hills in a secluded place only her family knew about. But no one was left of her family. She was the end of the line, and she wasn't going to be having kits anytime soon. Who would fall in love with the stargazer, the loner, the misfit...so many names had been used for her, they didn't even bother her anymore.
What was that? A step on a branch? Another TrueClanner? She lifted her head off her paws warily, the moon like a spotlight on her and the clearing surrounding her. A paw stepped into the light. She gasped, eyes gleaming with disbelief.
"Heather?"

The black and white she-cat had been walking along, minding her own business, when a strangely familiar scent had met her. She turned, her ears pricked. She recalled the face, the voice, the jealous feelings inside of her heart towards her sister. Her cold grey eyes stared forward at the much-prettier Forever. She's had it all... I bet she's been living comfortably. She looks better than me. Heather thought. She stepped forward, her tail held up high and its tip twitching arrogantly. She flicked her ear at her sister's startled voice.
"What's wrong? Thought I was dead, did you?" She taunted, smirking at her sister.

"Well..Kind of..How are you...living? I mean, I don't want that to sound..." she gave up mid-sentence, tail drooping onto the dusty undergrowth floor. Her sister hadn't change a bit-despite a long scar on her throat. she looked vicious, cold, like a river stone. Foreverpaw backed up a bit, back end touching the freezing amnesty stone. Why does it seem as if everything-everyone-is cold today?

Heather smirked slightly as she looked at Forever. She seemed completely dumbfounded. The black and white she-cat felt gratified that she'd caused a bit of uproar. She was also pleased by the fact that she'd frightened her sister. Causing misery just makes me feel grand. She thought gleefully.
"A nice little healing cat decided to stop and save little old me after father cut my throat out. Awful nice of her, wasn't it?" Heather purred, smiling a bit at Forever with a twinkling mischeviousness in her eye.

"What was the healing cats name?" Foreverpaw asked. It sounded like a charitable thing Rubyshine would do. Could it be true? Did Rubyshine help her evil sister? Another question bubbles to the top of her tounge. "Why are you in TrueClan territory," She asked, eyes glittering with defiance. she stepped forward a little, thickening her thin frame, tail raised in confidence. she could get a whol bushel of warriors on Heather paw in a snap. she already knew Authentic and Passion, long time friends, were on guard tonight.

Heather smirked at her sister's rash attitude. It seems that being a part of a Clan has made her more confident. Too bad she probably can't back that up.
"Rubypaw, as I recall. She seemed nice enough. Not like you, hmm?" Heather chuckled dryly. She licked her paw and began grooming behind her ear, unconcerned with her sister's presence.
"And as for what I'm doing here... I was here before this Clan. Why should I leave just because they decided to put their scent everywhere?" She asked icily.

"Because, warriors will catch you, big ones, scary ones, with sharp teeth and cunning minds. We're going to defeat SilenceClan, Heather. They can obviously beat you. Two of the most esteemed are only a few yards off. Get away, Heather, or I'll reopen that slash on your throat!" She threaten, baring her teeth. Her claws slid into the geography, prepared for any attack whatsoever. But then she cooled it. "I'm not who you think I am, Heather. I'm not extremely popular and pretty. I'm a misfit, a cloud watcher, star gazer. The one cat who understood me is gone. Well, sort of." she sighed and dipped her head shamefully.

Heather looked at Forever closely, her eyes expressionless as she listened. Hiding behind big kitties, are we? Pff. Typical. She said nothing, though, and listened. Her expression was hard to read as she shrugged.
"You can whine all you like, but you don't know what true suffering is. I've been struggling from the day I was born. But I guess you never had sympathy for me, did you? Seriously. At least you had someone. I've never had anyone." She meowed, curling her lip. She stood and flicked her tail leisurely.
"But oh well. Unlike you I don't cry about it. I'll just move on." She meowed. "I don't need anyone."

"Heather, Father pushed me to try and do something I never wnted to do. When he found out I never wanted to kill Talonstar in the first place, he discarded me and focused on you!" Foreverpaw said in outrage, muscles glimmering beneath her silver pelt.

Heather snorted.
"The minute you left he was all worried and missed you and hated me. He tried to kill me and left me for crowfood. I hardly see yours as the more suffering condition. You have a Clan here to care for you. You have food and the oppertunity to have friends, though your stupidity makes it unlikely that any cat would like you." She meowed, curling her lip and flicking her ear with distaste.

Foreverpaw's eyes filled with hate. "Leave!" she shrieked, charging forward. But she slid past Heather quietly and didn't make a mark on her. She crouched at the other side of the clearing, in hunters crouch, ready to leap.
A few yards away Passions ears flicked at a noise in the distance. "Someone just said 'Leave!'. Did you hear that?" she asked her friend, Authentic. He shook his head. "No I didn't, but you have better hearing then me. Should we wait for more noise?" He asked, eyes staring out into the darkness. "Sure," Passion said. Her fur prickled in worry. That kind of sounded like Foreverpaw. What is she up to?

Heather just stood and watched her sister with little interest in cold grey eyes. She twitched her whiskers and pondered for a moment.
"Hmm... I wonder..." She turned and stared at Forever for a moment, then flicked her tail.
"What's going on, Foreverpaw?" Heather turned, her ears perking a little. A beautiful young she-cat stood nearby, her calm eyes fixed on Heather with a strange expression. She turned to Foreverpaw, her black tortoiseshell fur shimmering.
Destinypaw had been returning from a training session when she'd heard something. She followed a strange scent and found Foreverpaw confronting a strange she-cat that Destinypaw had never seen before. She studied the two and her vision spun for a moment. She saw a large tom and two kits, she heard a loud voice that seemed familiar, and she watched one of the kits run away. She waited for a moment, and then leaped away from the vision as the tom slashed open the throat of the other kit. How horrible! Destinypaw thought, shuddering. She turned to the cold-eyed cat facing Foreverpaw. Her sister...

Foreverpaw stared at Destinypaw for a moment. Longpaw's sister. She felt a slash of cold claws at her heart and looked down shamefully. "Go, Destinypaw. It's dangerous here. Go back to camp and forget this ever happened, okay?" She asked, voice pleading. She wished Heather would vanish into thin air, but alas, Heather was still standing there.

Destinypaw looked at Foreverpaw and then to the grey-eyed she-cat. She allowed her vision to reopen itself, and she saw a familiar red she-cat and watched as Rubyshine treated the grey-eyes. She watched for quite some time after that, silent and staring. Finally she blinked and allowed the vision to fall away. She looked at Heather curiously. I wonder what she wants? Her intentions are not clear.
"Are you here to hurt Foreverpaw, Heather?" Destinypaw asked in a low voice. She had seen - she had felt - Heather's anger and bitterness towards her sister. Heather's grey eyes widened.
"You know me?" She demanded. Destinypaw flicked her ears, irritated sligthly by her blunder. She knew that other cats did not see what she saw. They would think it strange, what she could do. They would hate her. They would reject her if they knew.
"I know of you. You are Foreverpaw's sister. Longpaw told me." She lied. Heather turned slightly to Foreverpaw, and then back to Destinypaw.
"I'm just minding my business really. I stumbled across my skygazing sister and she seems to think she has a right to tell my paws where to go." Heather said, rolling her eyes. Destinypaw stared at her and cocked her head to one side slightly. So arrogant... is that a mask she wears?
"I see. But you are on TrueClan territory. Would you like to come to camp and discuss your visitation rights properly?" Destinypaw asked, little to no emotion in her voice.

Foreverpaw flinched at the mention of Longpaw's name. "He told you?" she asked, her voice falling away into a small noise. She had told no one about her past except for him and his father. Why, oh why, would he tell anyone else? She felt a sudden burst of depression. "I told you to leave." she said in a hard voice, eyes serious. "Just go, and don't mention this to anyone. I'll take care of Heather." She was a little annoyed Destinypaw barged in an tried to take her sister away like she was boss. She flicked her tail irratably, meaning what she said. Destinypaw couldn't fix anything, even visatation rights.

Destinypaw watched Foreverpaw, her eyes emotionless. She is angry with me. She hates her sister, I would expect. Hmm... Destinypaw closed her eyes and flicked her tail.
"Baised judgements should not be the way of our Clan. Perhaps Heather would make a good contribution to TrueClan? After all... we need all the paws we can get. But if Heather has no interest I will go." Destinypaw meowed, turning. She eyed Heather and saw in her eyes what she expected. The cold grey melted from stone-anger to loneliness and longing. Destinypaw blinked. Heather... you are lonely. You do not think so in your head, but you feel so in your heart. Destinypaw thought.
"Well, aren't you the nice one." Heather commented, trying to fight her weakened spirit. Destinypaw tilted her head slightly, her eyes calm and waiting for her answer.

"She's evil! She can't be a part of TrueClan!" Foreverpaw ripped up ground between her paws, eyes turning black with rage. "Longpaw wouldn't do that to me. He never told you." she said bluntly, trying to find ground beneath her paws. It felt like she was floating. She hissed crossly, crumbling to the ground in a heap. "She'll be out downfall. I can picture her telling SilenceClan secrets, to get back at me. Don't trust her Destinypaw."

As Foreverpaw spoke Destinypaw kept her eyes on Heather's face. A strange expression twisted it, and she knew at once what the she-cat was feeling. Searching through her past - what faint glimmers Destinypaw could reach, since the strength of her powers lay in the future, not the past - she had felt what Heather felt. She had experienced what Heather once experienced - though once again, not as strong as the she-cat had. She knew what was going on in Heather's mind, though only roughly. She turned away and looked at Foreverpaw.
"I see. And you're right, I suppose," she murmured gently, "Longpaw did not tell me. I learned somewhere else. But I suppose it is just as credible a source." Heather and you. The most reliable of all. Destinypaw turned back to Heather. The she-cat was wearing her arrogant, flippant mask once more.
"So you're evil, are you? I guess I should have expected that." Detsinypaw murmured. She saw a flicker of hurt but it was quickly overshadowed by the she-cat's smirk.
"That's a pretty harsh label, wouldn't you say? I merely look out for my own interests. And my sis is probably right. I don't care for TrueClan. If it suited me I'd probably just betray them like she says." I wonder if you really would... Destinypaw thought. She nodded.
"Very well then. I ask you to leave peacefully and no more." She meowed.

OOC: Your wish... my command XD
BIC: The black tom's amber eyes were trained on the prey he was stalking. He knew that he would catch this squirrel - it was just too open. He leaped, but a harsh voice startled his prey and he landed with his paws on nothing. He growled in frustration and marched towards the makers of the sound. He stopped, though, and began pacing. I can't just go marching up and telling them to shut their mouths... Oh I wish Lastsong were here. He'd give them a piece of his mind. But they'd ignore me. Everyone always does. Forgottensong thought bitterly. He padded through the undergrowth and popped his head out of the bush just as Destinypaw began walking away. He scented the newcomer and wondered if she was joining TrueClan or something. He padded out of the bush, and the sunlight made a beautiful pattern across his lucious black fur. He had a passive expression on his face as he dippde his head to Destinypaw.
"Something wrong?" He asked, recalling the sound that had ruined his hunt. Destinypaw turned and looked at him, then shrugged.
"Apparently it is not my business. I must find my brother. We were going for a hunt after my training session." She meowed, turning. She paused for a moment and cast a strange glance his way. Then with a flick of her tail she left. Forgottensong watched her for a moment, and then felt awkward. He turned to look at the black and white she-cat. Her eyes were pale grey and very pretty. He knew the other - Foreverpaw. She was an odd ball, like he was. I wonder if she's like that by choice. He thought absentmindedly.
"So who are you?" He asked, turning to the she-cat.
"Heather." She replied tartly. He flicked his ear in resigned surprise at her temperment. What in the name of stars and streams was eating her?
"Oh." He meowed. He wasn't curious enough to ask questions. He didn't figure it mattered anyway. He was starting to feel awkward, so he thought maybe it was time to go.
